Chapter 90 (Coming Out)

Hey, guys.

It's been so long, I know! Some of you have probably seen the message I left on my message board. My cousin passed away recently, he had a brain tumor for three years and unfortunately, he lost the fight. He was like a brother to me and I was so devastated when I got the news. He had been in a coma for 4 days, before he passed away.

I lost quite a lot of people in 2019 and we are only halfway through the year...

But still, we need to move on with our lives and I'm sure that's what my cousin would want me to do as well.

Enough of the sadness...

Xia Yao's POV

"And what happened then?" Yuan Ru asked, looking sad and worried.

I just got done explaining the story of Zhen Zhen and Peng Ze. Apparently her and Zhen Zhen were still in contact, but he refused to talk about Peng Ze. Yuan Ru said that Zhen Zhen always looked sad when Peng Ze's name was even mentioned.

"Peng Ze had no other option, but to leave. Poor him, I can't imagine how much it hurt him."

"Why is Zhen Zhen so stupid? It's so obvious that they both have feelings for each other. All they do is hurt each other, that's it." Yuan Ru said, looking frustrated. I just nodded and agreed with her.

What can we do, they both are stupid and stubborn.

"Anyway... Yuan Zong is going on a business trip next week. Are you going with him?" I rose my eyebrows in confusion. Business trip? How come Yuan Zong hadn't told me about it?

"What are you talking about? He hasn't mentioned anything to me."

"Hmm, weird. I found out about it today, maybe he'll tell you later." I nodded slowly, still feeling unsure.

"GOD DAMN IT!!!" We suddenly heard. It had to be Yuan Zong.

I rushed into his office, only to see that he had spilt coffee all over his papers.

"Don't just watch, come and help me!" He raised his voice. I giggled and grabbed some tissues to wipe the coffee from his table. The papers were now ruined.

"Clumsy."

"You won't say that tonight when you'll accidentally trip and fall on my dick." I shuddered at the thought and quickly wiped the table.

"Ahem!" Yuan Ru made herself noticeable and I blushed, feeling embarrassed.

"Be quiet, Yuan Ru. I need another copy of these papers, go and print them out for me." I lighty slapped his chest.

"Hey, don't be mean to your sister. Just because today isn't going well for you, doesn't mean you have to let your bad mood out on us." I scolded, knowing damn well he couldn't say no to me.

"Whatever floats your boat, baby." He rolled his eyes and I pouted.

"Also, how come I don't know about your business trip next week? I'm your boyfriend, aren't I?" I said, feeling left out. I knew it wasn't a big deal, yet I still brought it up.
