Chapter 55 (Use Protection)

Xia Yao's POV

Zhen Zhen insisted on accompaning me to work today and I didn't know why. He planned on going shopping first, claiming that he barely brought any clothes with him, which was a lie, because he brought two big suitcases with him, that barely closed. He had always been one who loved to spend money.

"Alright, Zhen Zhen. Wake up now or else we are going to be late!" He was such a heavy sleeper, it was ridiculous. He was also wearing a blindfold (?) for whatever reason.

"What time is it?" He asked groggily, wiping the sleep from his eyes.

"Half past 6. Get up, now. Yuan Zong is already on his way to the company right now, so we can't afford being late. The delivery men will be there early today, too. So please, hurry up." I told him, sighting, while rolling my eyes at him. I told him yesterday, that I was going to wake him up very early.

"Alright, jeez. You just want to see your man again, am I right or am I right?" He laughed, putting a bathrobe on.

"You are wrong, actually." I laughed and gave him the finger.

"Whatever. I'm going to take a shower now."

Meanwhile I used the time to clean up mine and Yuan Zong's room, which basically only included me making our bed.

I planned on inviting Zhi Shui and Da Yu over, so they could meet Zhen Zhen and Zhen Zhen was down for it, too. I already asked Peng Ze about it, but he already had other plans. I was pretty sure that he wasn't busy at all, he was probably going to some club to get laid again. Yes, he did that. Even if he had work the day after.

"Xia Yao!" I heard Zhen Zhen yell from the bathroom.

"What's up?"

"Oh, never mind. Found it!" I rolled my eyes and walked away.

"Hurry up!" He always took forever to get ready and I was getting impatient already. I didn't get to kiss Yuan Zong good morning today, so I was desperate to smooch my man once I saw him in his office.

After another 45 minutes, Zhen Zhen was finally done and ready to go.

"Finally." He rolled his eyes at me, grabbing his phone from the counter and putting on some perfume.

"I didn't take that long, stop being a whiny bitch."

"You took an hour getting ready... you took a shower, brushed your teeth and got dressed. Why the hell did it take you so long?"

"Whatever. Let's go now."

After stopping by at Starbucks at Zhen Zhen's wish, we finally made it to the company. Not wanting to waste another minute, I bolted towards Yuan Zong's office, while Zhen Zhen went to look for Yuan Ru. He had met her yesterday and I swear they were like best friends now. It was the weirdest thing to witness

"Babe!" I yelled with too much enthusiasm and jumped on him.

"Good morning to you, too, ba- Mmh!" I cut him off by placing a big kiss on his lips and wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I didn't get to kiss you this morning, why did you have to leave so early?" He pointed towards a big pile of boxes.

"The delivery men came already?" I asked, feeling confused. It was only ten past eight.

"They did. Earlier than I had expected." He said.

"Alright, Xia Yao. Get off of me now, I need to work." He placed another kiss on my head, before gently putting me down.

"5 minutes won't hurt anybody..." I pouted and cuddled further into his chest.

"I need to work, Xia Yao. Come on, love. We will have plenty of time for ourselves once we get off of work." I shook my head.

"But the boys are coming over today. Who knows when they go home." I mumbled into his chest.

"Don't be like that, now. Your man needs to work, so he can continue to spoil you rotten." I was feeling a bit upset, but I didn't want to show him that. This was also a bad habit of mine, I always got upset about the smallest things. Especially when it came to Yuan Zong.

"It's alright, I'm leaving." I parted from him and went to go to my office.

"Xia Yao! Don't be upset, yeah? You know how much I love you." I stopped my movements and I tried not to smile. He always knew what to say to make me feel better.

"I know you are not mad at me. I can basically see your bright wide smile." He added.

I heard footsteps coming towards me and before I knew it, Yuan Zong's strong, muscular arms were wrapped around my waist from behind.

"I promise, I will make you feel so good once we get home, but right now, your husband has work to do. Alright, love?" He peppered kisses all over my neck and I had to bite my lips, to prevent myself from letting out a loud moan.

"O-Okay." I whispered and turned my head, so I could steal another small kiss from him, before going in to my office. But not before receiving a slap on my bum from Yuan Zong.

"Hey!"

"So what are your plans for today, Peng Ze? Be honest, is there a girl involved?" I asked him. We went out for lunch and Zhen Zhen decided to stay in the company with Yuan Ru and also because they went out for lunch before us.

"There is..."

"I KNEW IT!"

"Calm down, Xia Yao. You know it's nothing serious."

"What about all the girls? Don't you feel sorry for them, I mean, what if they fall in love with you?"

"They don't. They all know it's nothing serious and they don't care. Just like me, so why not have some fun?" He shrugged. I really didn't get it.

"Have you ever been in a serious relationship before?"

"Does a 2 month relationship count...?" I shook my head and sighed.

"Alright, do what you want. But, love is a wonderful feeling. And I want you to experience it, too, you know. I only want the best for you. And having constant one night stands is also dangerous, Peng Ze."

"Alright, father Xia Yao, thank you." He laughed and patted my shoulder.

"So you won't be coming over today?" He shook his head.

"No, maybe next time, brother."

"Just- Just make sure you use protection, yeah? We don't want little Peng Ze's running around, now. It's easy to make them, but it's hard to take care of them. So, don't be stupid and take responsibility." He laughed, but I didn't find it funny at all. I was being serious.

"Who is that girl waving at you over there? She is pretty." He asked once we arrived at work. I rolled my eyes and had to laugh a little.

"He is not a girl, Peng Ze. It's my cousin, Zhen Zhen. He came to visit me a few days ago."

"He... never mind." I knew he was embarrassed, that he mistook Zhen Zhen for a girl. And the fact that he also called him pretty.

"What took you so long? Your mother called to let you know she will be back tomorrow." I just nodded.

I noticed Zhen Zhen looking Peng Ze up and down, while biting his lip, the entire time and sighed.

He just couldn't keep it in his pants.

"Weirdos."
