I walk into my best friend's house that he shares with the rest of his bandmates and look around in confusion when I don't see anyone. "Hello?" I call, but no one answers. I set my bag down and start walking through the house, knowing the door wouldn't be unlocked if someone wasn't here. I hear some music then-a violin actually-and curiously follow the sound. I come to a door that is cracked open and peek my head inside, seeing Michael with his back facing me, playing his violin. I smile to myself, enjoying the beautiful sound that floats through the air and hesitantly knock so he knows I'm there. He stops playing and looks over his shoulder.

"You're really good," I say quietly, leaning against the doorframe.

"Thanks. I'm sorry, who are you?" He asks, setting his violin back in its case.

"Oh sorry. I'm Sarah, Brady's friend," I hold out my hand as I introduce myself.

"Oh! He mentioned you would be coming at some point! He's so excited you're spending the weekend with us. He'll be back soon. He just went out to pick up some food for us all. I'm Michael. It's lovely to meet you," Michael shakes my hand and I smile, looking up at him. His piercing blue eyes lock on mine, holding my gaze for a moment.

"So, you sing, rap, and play the violin? Is there anything you can't do?" I joke.

Michael chuckles. "There's a list. I can't play guitar for starters." He sits down on the couch and I join him.

"That's the one thing I can do." I respond.

"Really? You play guitar?" He asks curiously.

I nod and look around, spotting a guitar in the corner. I immediately recognize it as Brady's that he has had since we were younger. I pick it up and start to strum, playing a melody I came up with.

"You're really good. What song is that? I don't recognize it," Michael comments.

"Oh, it's just a little melody I came up with one time while I was bored. I don't have  any lyrics or anything right now."

"You created that? It's a really cool melody. Play it again," Michael says.

I raise an eyebrow and play my melody again and the next thing I know, Michael is rapping to it. I laugh as I listen to him and start to sing a few words I came up with, Michael listening to me with a smile.

"You sing too?" He asks as we finish and I nod slightly. "Those lyrics were beautiful. Did you just come up with those?"

"Well, yeah. You started rapping and I took some words from what you said and turned them into a chorus."

"Well, that was beyond amazing and I did not expect to walk in on this," I hear Brady's familiar voice and look over my shoulder, seeing him standing in the doorway. I squeal and set his guitar down before I run over to him, tackling him in a hug.

"Brady!" He chuckles and hugs me back tightly.

"Seriously, Sarah. That was so cool. You and Michael sound good together," He says.

I smile and shrug, looking at Michael. "It was just us messing around."

"You should record it," Brady blurts out after a minute and I cough slightly.

"Wait, what?" I ask. Michael stands up and walks over to us then.

"Dude, that would be so fueg. Let's do it," Michael adds.

I look between the two boys in shock. "You're serious? But I don't really sing. I was just messing around."

"You're way better than you give yourself credit for. Record it," Brady assures me. I bite my lip nervously and nod.

"Okay, fine." Michael grins slightly and grabs my hand, sending a small shock wave through me.

Really? You've known him for five minutes and you already like him? I think to myself.

Michael leads me down the hall to a small recording room and we sit down. He hands me a guitar that was laying against the wall and I take some time to tune it.

"You're really pretty by the way. I just had to get that out there," Michael says as he watches me.

I blush and look up at him. "You're not too bad yourself," I mumble quietly, making him smile.

We record the song a few times, changing small things here and there each time we record. We sit in the recording room for hours, talking and laughing and recording music and it's so nice to bond with him.

"I love how calm and chill you are," Michael says as we clean up.

"Really? Brady hates it when I'm so calm because he's always so hyped up and happy. He picks on me about it all the time," I reply.

"Nah, I think you're really cool. We should totally hang out sometime this weekend."

I smirk slightly and look over at him. "Are you asking me out?" I ask.

Michael blushes and rubs the back of his neck. "Yeah, I am."

"I'd love to hang out with you Michael."

He smiles as we head to the living room. "Good. I think you'll be good for me. I could use someone like you in my life."
