GIA POV

"Nice to see you again" since leaving where I was I had my original therapist refer me to this one. Apparently they're friends. So I guess she updated her what she's dealing with. "Hey".

"So what's been going on?" She asked.

"Well my children's father found out about Harlow. Our two year old spilled the beans" I said.

"Oh really, how did that go?" She asked.

"Well since the cat was out of the bag I figured why not just let him see her. And that's what happened. But then he wanted to come at me for hiding Harlow. But I wasn't going to let him do that".

"Gia being angry is normal. But when your displaying it around your kids that's not healthy. Delano did what he did. But at the same time you can't be angry at him forever.  Remember you both have four children to worry about. It's not about just you".

Ryan and Kai decided they would go live with their dad. I didn't want them to go but they need their dad now" I said.

"Interesting... how are you feeling about that?".

"Like someone is ripping out my heart. But I know I can't be selfish. If they need their dad then so be it" I said.

"You see that Gia who just came in and said that. We need more of her to come out. And put angry bitter Gia back in".

"I'm trying but it's so hard. Every time I see Delano I see the reason why we aren't together" she nodded "you can blame Delano until your blue in the face but it won't help you heal from it".

"Then my kids... I know they are suffering. Well not Harlow. But the two older ones are definitely going through it. Especially Ryan... he's seen this before".

"Gia what I want you to do is just hear them out. Even if it's something you rather not hear. Let the kids talk. If you do that they'll think they're being heard. But when you stop the conversation it'll show them their feelings don't matter".

"You have a valid point. Anytime Ryan tried to talk to me I usually brush him off" I said.

"Next time just listen... you'll see how far it'll get you". This woman had a point. From now on I'll let the boys talk if they have any concerns. Well whenever I see them. "Have you been to the old home?".

I nodded "when I went to drop off Salem".

"How did that turn out?".

"I can't with that house. It just gives me bad memories. Somewhat like PSTD... I have to get out of there quickly. Can't do it!" I said.

"That's why I brought up the question. Usually when a place we experienced trauma in it's not unusual for the person like yourself to experience some type of PSTD".

"How do I get through it?" I asked.

"Many of these sessions. I have faith in you gia. I know we can heal you".

"Can two mentally messed up people survive in a relationship?" I asked.

"If two psychopaths or two sociopaths, even two narcissistic people can manage in a relationship then I don't see why you and Delano couldn't rebuild what you once had".

"Sure about that?" I asked.

"Positive" she said.

DELANO POV

Ryan and Kai have come to me about living with me. I was ecstatic when they told me this. But Gia was my biggest problem. Didn't think she would let them lose. Feeling bad they would be leaving Salem and now Harlow behind. But they're getting older. They need me more than ever now.

Gia brought them over. She didn't get out of the car though. I went to speak to her but she was gripping the steering wheel tightly. "You okay?". She turned to me "Yeah I'm fine".

"Thanks for agreeing for the boys to live with me" I said.

"Oh yeah no problem. It'll be good for them" she said.

"Salem didn't come to say goodbye?" I asked.

"She was a little dramatic that Kai was leaving. You know she's clingy with him" she said.

"Very true. How's Harlow?" I asked. She is our daughter too.

"She's good" she said.

A silence filled the air. Ryan came running out "Okay we are settled". I smiled "good. Tell your mother bye". Ryan went around to Gias side and hugged her through the window. Kai came following.. "love you both. Be good and remember follow the rules too. You are not wild animals!". Ryan rolled his eyes "Mom we know!".

"Don't rush me!" She said.

"Mom we get it!" Kai said.

Gia stared at them a little while longer. "Okay let me leave before I cry and then take them back home". She drive slowly just watching Ryan and Kai. As she turned into the street I motioned the boys to come inside. It'll be like old times having them here.
