Gia had took Harlow to go pick up Salem from school. Since I know that's a good thirty minute ride going and coming. The boys should be home by now. I opened the door and saw Ryan around the table with a young girl. Taken back a little cause Ryan doesn't have friends over. But hearing laughter I assume it's okay.
Ryan turned to me looking completely nervous "hey dad! What are you doing here?!".
"I live here! Who's this?" I asked.
The young girl waved "I'm Kennedy".
I nodded "I'm Ryan's dad! Nice to meet you". She smiled and her focus went back onto Ryan. The way he was acting I knew he liked her. Few minutes later the door opened and Harlow and Salem ran inside but stopped dead on their tracks when they saw the stranger.
"Who are you?" Harlow asked.
"Harlow?!" Ryan said.
"What? I don't know her!" She said.
Salem walked up to her "oh my goodness you're so pretty!". Kennedy blushed "thanks". Grabbing both girls and pushing them to their rooms. Gia walked in and stopped "Ryan? Is this?". He nodded "hello I'm his mom".
"I'm Kennedy. And wow I didn't even know your mom is black" she said.
"I told you she was" he said.
"Aww Ryan she's pretty" Gia said.
"Thanks" she blushed.
"Are you guys hungry or thirsty?" Gia asked.
"Mom..." Ryan warned. Gia stopped and smiled "oh sorry. But nice meeting you Kennedy!". Gia walked away from them and bumped into me. "Hey watch that ass rubbing up on me" I smirked.
"You would... but look at Ryan. Being all cute with his soon to be girlfriend. And she's pretty. I hope he tells her that" Gia said.
"Why does he have to tell that?" I asked.
"Well if you haven't noticed she's has vitiligo on her face. I could imagine the insecurities she faces" Gia said.
"Maybe she's okay with herself" I said.
"Maybe, but still I hope Ryan lets her know how pretty she is" she said.

RYAN POV
Did I expect to fall for Kennedy? No. But she's been chasing me down since I started school. And normally I don't take kindly to someone trying to come after me. But she was not stopping. I don't know what it is but we click.

This was the picture she sent me. Her confidence won me over. She doesn't care what others think of her. And she does what she wants. I like that. Kennedy's dad is non existent but she lives with her grandma. Her mom passed away last year from a complication from lupus.
Since we were walking home together from the bus I offered her to come over to chill. She agreed and we were sitting at the table just talking. Now with the vitiligo on her face. I must admit I used to stare but now I'm used to it. It makes her different.
"How cool is it you have a black mom and a white dad?" She asked.
I shrugged "never really noticed..."
"Ryan you are so cute!" She smiled.
"Kennedy... what did I say about calling me cute?" I asked. She fanned me away "oh stop! You are cute. You can play mister tough guy but I see right through you".
Maybe she did see right through me. Who would've known this move would have brought me Kennedy.
"It's been fun but I have to go" she got up and hugged me. "Thanks for inviting me over". I nodded "no problem... hey let me walk you home". She smiled and grabbed my hand intertwining her fingers with mine. The feeling I felt was new. I liked it but it was still new.

GIA POV
Ryan was too cute. I'll definitely tease him when he gets back. Because as a mom it's my job!. Kai came out his room "where's Ryan?".
"He went to walk Kennedy home" I said.
"Oh" he said.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah I guess. Since Ryan is so occupied with her he won't be around as much" he said.
"Oh Kai! Look your brother is getting older. Girls will happen. Just like for you when you hit his age. And you better hope Salem is over being around you cause if not I feel bad for any girl that comes your way" I said.
"Don't even say her name loud enough. She hasn't started bothering me yet" he said. I smiled "Salem just loves you a little more than the others".
"And you don't see that as unhealthy?" He asked.
"I do. But she's not going to stop. It's like you're her teddy bear. Until she's ready to pass you up the it's a waiting game" I said.
"That doesn't help me at all" he said. Hearing Salem coming down the hallway. Kai slowly walked back to his room slowly closing the door. I have one who's into his girlfriend. Another who feels left out. Then there's Salem. Harlow isn't so much a problem. Delano on the other hand... he's really pushing another feel of my ass. This morning I swore I felt him trying to rub himself on my butt.
