It was a girls lunch date

It was a girls lunch date. Which means I took Salem and Harlow out together. Since we had that talk with Harlow she's been a little more nicer to her sister. Just a little. Harlow still at times gives Salem the side eye.

"Mommy? How old were you when you moved out of your parents house?" Salem asked.

"Why?" I asked.

She shrugged "just want to know".

"I was sixteen!" I said.

"Whoa sixteen! Isn't that young? How did you survive?" She asked.

"Salem! Mommy is strong" Harlow chimed in. Salem roller her eyes "so if I move out at sixteen will you be mad?".

"Obviously! You have no need to move anywhere at that age. I did" I said.

"I'll be grown by then" she said.

"No you won't! Trust me" I laughed.

"Salem be like me. Just find a rich man to take care of you and then you can move out" Harlow said. Her and this thing with rich men. I definitely need to limit her tablet time. I can only imagine what she watches on YouTube.

My mind went back to when Bria and I went to this Halloween party...

[Flashback]...

"This is stupid! And I don't even have a costume" I whined.

"Oh Gia relax. Here wear this" she handed me one of those masquerade mask. "Oohhh" I dryly said.

"See you look better already" she smiled. Never mind she was all dressed up in a sexy maid outfit. My thing is she knew about this party but forgot to mention to me it was a costume party. "Where is this party anyway?".

"On that beach. You know the one you go to a lot" she said.

"Wonderful" I said. We pulled up there and there were massive adults here. My anxiety was at an all time high now. "Bria why are we here when there's adults here?!".

"Chill out! They won't know we are teenagers. Just act grown" she said.

Rolling my eyes I could've been in bed sleeping. But no, I had Bria convince me to come along. Walking though the crowds I saw a bonfire. Since it was a little cool out I needed the beat. Standing there just looking around. Everyone was having a good time. I even saw Bria talking to some guy. Feeling out of place.

If I could walk out of here I would. But the entrance was too far from where I was. When I turned around I bumped into a hard muscular chest. Embarrassed "sorry" I said.

"No worries!" I looked up to see the owner. He had a costume on as well. Let me find out bria brought us to one of his parties. "And you must be a masquerade woman?" He asked.

"Oh yeah you got it" I said.

He smiled "having fun?".

"Not really. I would love to just leave and go on home" I said.

"Not a party person?" He asked.

I shrugged "Not really".

"Same here. My friend brad threw this party. I just went along with it cause he wouldn't stop bugging me" he said.

"At least I could leave. You can't" I joked.

"What's your name by the way?" He asked. I was about to answer him but Bria came bumping into me laughing "oh my goodness I have two hot brothers and one of them wants to meet you. Come on!".

I smiled at the young man before being pulled to the other side of the bonfire. "So this is Gia!". One of the brother smiled "Gia is a pretty name!". His game was weak. Actually by just looking at him you can tell he's not that smart. I was already bored. He was talking to me but I zoned out. Looking at the bonfire I saw the owner looking at me sipping his drink. The intense stare made me feel warm inside. Strange.

Bria stepped in front of my view and smiled "Aren't they great!".

I smiled "yeah sure".

"Hey let's go somewhere and continue the conversation" he offered.

"Umm you know what I'm tired. So yeah" I walked away. Go somewhere quiet so what he could try and have sex with me? No. I'm not bria. I just can't open my legs to random people. That's not in me to do.

She went off with the brother leaving me to wait for her since she drove. I sat on the bannister to just be alone. Hearing footsteps "are you okay?".

Recognizing the voice "Yeah, Just waiting for my friend".

"Oh okay" he said. He stood there like he wanted to say something. A woman came stumbling up to him laughing "hey sexy I've been looking all over for you". I turned my head to look away from them. When I side eyed them I saw them kissing. Hoping off the bannister I went walking along the beach.

Don't get what's the big deal with being with someone. I rather be alone. It's safer that way. As time went on I was bored. Bria came back smiling "well that was better than I anticipated". Thank god. "Can we leave now?" I asked. She rolled her eyes but nodded "you missed out Gia".

"Whatever!" I said.
