DELANO POV

Gia was sleeping after our love making. Usually I sit up and just watch her sleep. She looked so peaceful. From ever since I used to watch Gia sleep. It was the only time she would not have to worry and be free or her problems.

I still feel guilty for cheating. Gia has been through so much and I was the one person who should've been there and I wasn't. Instead, I was creating more problems. I can remember how it started. Now Bria was always throwing shots at me. Even when she worked for me she would try and flirt. But honestly, I didn't see Bria. I saw only Gia. Even though she pushed me away most of time but it didn't matter. Gia was the one I wanted and I had to have her.

You know I was the guy who didn't believe in marriage or love. But when I met Gia... it was love at first sight. Like in the cartoons when the hearts fly around and euphoria hits. I knew from that moment I loved Gia. She was my heart. When she pushed me away it hurt. I didn't understand at that time why she wasn't feeling the same thing I was.

Now that I accomplished getting Gia. Like I said the pregnancy wasn't planned. That was accidental. But it got me gia. What can I say?. But once we moved to Nevada and Gia was pregnant again which was planned on my part. Things started to shift. Our issues were controlling our relationship.

Gia had taken Ryan who was four at the time and went back to Arizona to see her dad. Which left me alone but I didn't mind. Work would've had me busy anyway.

Memory....

I was too busy typing away on my phone responding to important emails. Gia was in Arizona for the week so I had the house to myself. Not that I didn't mind since Gia and I were having some issues.

The door bell went off. Now I wasn't expecting anyone especially where we live. Opening the door I see Bria with her bag. "Hey Delano! Where's Gia?".

"She didn't tell you about going to Arizona?" I asked. She walked inside "no she never told me!". Putting her bag by the stairs she looked at me "damn".

"I mean I would feel like shit to tell you to go back home. So might as well stay until she gets back" I said. She smiled "thanks". Leaving her alone I went to my den. Bria doesn't bother me. Sometimes she's so quiet you won't even know she's here.

Hours later, she knocked on my door.

"Yeah" I yelled. She pushed open the door "I'm hungry!".

"You know where the kitchen is" I said.

"Yeah I know but there's no food. So can we order something or maybe you cook. Pick one" she smiled.

"I'll order something" I said.

She clapped her hands and smiled "cool". Closing my laptop I got up and went to call the Chinese place. When the food got here bria and I both ate around the table. No talking just eating.

"This is so good!" She said. Glancing at her before getting up and cleaning the table. Leaving her there to clean up here mess. I went to the living room to watch the news as I always did. I'm the news guy.

She joined me on the couch "the news is so boring!".

"Bria don't you have a television upstairs? Go watch it" I said.

"Look I'm bored. Can we do something else? I mean it's bad enough this house is in the middle of nowhere. To even go to the store you have to drive a good ten minutes. How about we play a drinking game?".

"Bria... one you don't live here. Two... no I'm not playing a drinking game" I said.

She rolled her eyes "You will always be a sour puss. I need Gia back. At least we would do things".

"Well Bria Gia is pregnant again so she won't be as much fun for you" I said.

"I know that. Not for nothing... I can't believe you got her pregnant. Again" she said.

"And what's that suppose to mean?" I asked.

"Meaning Gia doesn't like you the way you think. She's with you because you got her pregnant the first time. It's more for her like well I'm going to do what he wants me to type of thing. Like, she isn't affectionate with you either. That's not a loving relationship. I don't even have to question the sex. I already know she's not all into it" she said.

I didn't say anything.

"Delano you're a good looking guy. And you make your own money too. Any woman would be so happy to have a guy like you. Gia isn't that woman. And she will never be that for you. I'm not trying to down my best friend but I'm looking out for you too. You are a special person Delano" she said.

Glancing at her she was smiling. That's when she slowly moved her hand to mine "you deserve love".

Not realizing what was happening. She moved over to my lap and sat down. Running her fingers through my hair and staring at me "Gia doesn't deserve someone as perfect as you". She leaned in and kissed me.

At first I didn't kiss back. But she pulled back "it's okay to feel". She leaned in again and I kissed back. Which led us to go upstairs to her guest room and we had sex that first time which led to plenty of times.
