GIA POV

Last night I heard my phone alert go off but I was too damn tired to check it. Never mind I had Harlow in the bed with me because she had a bad dream. But when I woke up I saw I had a text from Delano's sister. That was really weird since I haven't spoken to her since the last time I saw her.

"Gia can we please meet at this diner? If you say yes, it'll be at this address" she texted.

Watching my phone I was a little taken back. But I wasn't too sure if I wanted to even meet up with her. But therapy has thought me to give people a second chance. I texted "sure I'll meet you". Hoping this turns out good.

Delano had the kids today. So it was easy to go meet up with his sister. Plus, I don't want to tell him about meeting her until I see where this is going. Driving up there all the memories of how nice she used to be. But then out of nowhere she turned on me. I know that was the witch that made that happen.

Pulling up to the diner I see her standing there. She had shades on and a hat. I see she's still trying to hide herself. Walking up to her she gave me a small smile. I nodded "so?".

"Can we go inside? I'm starving" she said. I motioned my arms for her to start walking. We got a booth by the window. "So why did you want to meet up?" I asked.

"Well I wanted to just have a clear conscience and try and repair relationships with people. And you were one of them" she said.

"Umm... okay" I said.

"Gia I never had an issue with you. Honestly, I think you fit my brother the best! But my mother was investing in my organization. She made me believe you were the energy".

"You sure confused me when you just out of nowhere started siding with your mother. I'm like I never did anything to Emmalee".

"I'm sorry I made you think you did something to me. And I'm also sorry for just not being there as I should've been".

"Since you look sincere... I'll accept the apology" I smiled.

She smiled "whew! Thank god. I was hoping you would. You made my day!". We sat there and ordered food and just chatted. "So you're saying our dad came out of nowhere and wants to start shit?". I nodded "pretty much".

"Hmm... I wouldn't trust him too much. He was never there for us. And now he shows up? That's suspect alone" she said.

"That's what I'm saying. But Delano is like a little boy who is elated that his dad came back. I don't want to hurt him but I don't want him to be fooled by this man" I said.

"Delano was my dad growing up. He took care of when our mother wasn't around. Ever since I was little I clung to him" she said. That brought me to Salem and Kai. How Salem attaches herself to him.

"I doubt you remember anything about your dad.." I said.

She shook her head "Nope I was too young when he left". Damn!

"But I also want to reconcile with my brother. We had such a close relationship before our mother came between us. I miss my bro" she said.

"Honestly, I don't know if Delano will even listen to anything you'll have to say. But he has been in therapy so maybe he will. That's something I can't say" I said.

"Well Gia maybe you can speak to him into meeting with me" she said.

I sighed "Umm..."

"Please?! I want my brother back. I feel so alone out here. After he told this woman her child was mine and her husbands. I've been paranoid! But I deserve what he did to me" she said.

I nodded "he was hurt by you betraying him. Even though we both know it was your mother".

"How are the kids?" She asked.

"They're are all good" I said.

"I miss Ryan. We had such a bond. And now he must hate me" she said.

"That I don't know. He's a growing boy now" I said.

"How many kids do you guys have again?" She asked.

I coughed "four".

"Huh? Four? Wait... Ryan, Kai and Salem... that's three" she said.

"Yeah it's four. Harlow makes four but that's a story for a another day" I joked. She wide eyed me "you two are always having more kids!".

I shrugged "what can I say?". We sat there and spoke some more about what she was up to. She didn't want to move back to where we were. Understandable she was still paranoid about this woman finding her. She really wanted to reconcile with Delano. I saw the sadness in her eyes. I remember when we worked on the beach and she would look up to him.

Or when she would come and see Ryan and bring him gifts. To Ryan... Emmalee was the coolest aunt he's ever had. Now does Ryan hate her? That I couldn't tell you. He would have to answer that himself.

The meeting went well. Nothing but genuine sincere apologies coming from her. Now I just need see if Delano would want to talk to his sister. That answer is also up on the air as well. He's not the same Delano from before but it doesn't mean he'll want to talk to his sister
