RYAN POV

"How did it go?" Kai ran up to me.

"It was okay. I don't like talking to strangers about our family problems. How would they know what to do? When we are the ones in it?" I asked.

"True, but you didn't tell her right?!" He asked.

"No i didn't tell her anything. Why would I do that anyway?!" I said. Sometimes Kai can be a little slow. He's a smart kid... but he has his days. "You're right. I'm just weird about the whole thing".

"No need to, we did what we did and it's over. They said she drowned herself so..." I said.

"What if... we left something at the scene?!" He asked. I put both of arms on kai's shoulders "we didn't leave anything. We were very cautious".

He nodded "okay. Sorry I've been so jumpy".

"Don't be sorry... we did what we had to do. If we didn't she would still be around causing more problems for us" I said. He nodded "You're right".

"Just calm down and relax. Sometimes bad people have to die. And she had to die. She was nothing good. She preyed on mom and dad. She didn't care about what she was doing to us too".

"Yeah so we did our own justice in a way..."

"Exactly... nothing wrong with what we did" I said. He nodded "just making sure". Patting his back we walked out our room to play video games to take kai's kind off of that.

DELANO POV

"Okay now we need to hit the hard questions... why did you cheat?" The therapist asked me.

"I don't know. To me it just happened and kept happening" I said.

"Well you had to be attracted to Bria to keep continuing the affair... right or wrong?".

"Right... you know she was the only one who knew about my abusive past. And she was so caring about it. She told me how we would work through it together and she was happy I shared this with her. Then she said if gia found out she wouldn't understand and how she was so focused in her own issues".

"It's interesting how Bria targeted you and Gia. And you both come from abusive past. There's this saying that once you been abused there's this target on your head so other abusers can take their mark on you. Bria was that person. And the sad thing is she played the both of you. Not caring the affects on your children".

"Never thought about it that way" I said.

"Look at it... she manipulated Gia completely and then had you to herself. Nothing like isolating your victim" she said.

"Holy shit! Wow!" I said.

"Sometimes you have to look deeper into a situation in order to fully grasp what is going on" she said.

"Wow, I'm speechless" I said.

"I tend to do that to people when we find out something you missed" she said. "But can I ask why you never told gia about your past. Had no problem telling Bria about it".

"I didn't want to look weak or vulnerable to gia. I was her rock. What would it look like to tell her about it?. But Bria I don't know it just came out. And she understood and let me tell her".

"So you had an imagine to protect when it came to gia? Hence why you never informed her about your past".

I nodded "exactly. She didn't see me as weak Delano. Maybe as controlling Delano or mean Delano but never weak".

"Just because you were abused doesn't make you weak. It makes the abuser weak". She had a point.

GIA POV

I was meeting with Ron just to catch up. He's truly the only friend I have. He looked out for me when everything was crumbling. "Hey Gia!". He waved walking up to me. "Hey Ron! Long time no see". We hugged and just walked to the local park to chat.

"So How is everything?" He asked.

"Well the boys went to live with their dad. Upsetting I know but I think it's best. They need their dad and their dad needs them right now".

"Wow, I'm surprised you're taking this so well" he said.

"I know right, I guess I looked at the bigger picture" I said.

"How's the other two?" He asked.

"Salem and Harlow are fine. Salem loves her baby sister. You can't come between them for nothing" I said.

"That's cute. So Delano found out about Harlow?" He asked.

"Yeah Salem told him. So now he knows. He was livid about it but... with all that was going on it slipped my mind" I said.

"I don't know about slipping your mind. I think you were protecting Harlow from being hurt. But she came after the drama" he said.

"True, dammit I hate it when you're right!" I laughed.

"Just saying. Let's not lie here. Cause I will tell you the truth either you like it or not" he said. His friend came over to us "damn I said wait for me! And you just walk away".

"I was meeting my friend gia here. Gia this is Levi. Levi this is Gia" Levi shook my hand and smiled "well hello to you gia". Taking my hand back after him holding onto it longer than usual.

"Sorry... I don't normally do that.. but I must say you are very pretty" he smiled.

"Thanks" I blushed.

"Anytime... Ron How come you never introduced me to gia before? She's your friend and this is the first time I'm meeting such a beauty".

"Relax she had four kids and a in a nasty situation with her husband" he said.

"That's okay... husbands don't scare me. Unless you are happily married. If not, then we are good and I love kids" he said.

I laughed "you are funny".

"Isn't he? Mister full of shit" Ron said.

"Don't embarrass me, Ron" Levi joked.
