DELANO POV

"I have a job interview today. So Harlow and Salem will have to go with you to work" Gia said while getting dressed. "And why doesn't Salem have school?" I asked.

"Something about pre-k and kindergarten teachers having a meeting today. So no students today" she said. Hearing both Harlow and Salem footsteps as they chase each other. Just thinking of having them both with me today was giving me a slight headache. Gia patted me on the back "you'll survive". Giving her a fake smile "thanks".

Gia had left. It was just me and the girls. I was already running behind. "Salem lets go!" I yelled. She peeked her head out of her room "Can I take Olaf with me?".

"Sure come on" I said. She skipped along me with her Olaf stuffed animal. Harlow was bouncing next to me as well. Helping them both in the car. Making sure they were both strapped in. On the way to my job I hear whining. Usually these two are great together but today that wasn't the case. "Daddy! Tell Harlow she can't have my Olaf doll!".

Looking through the rear view mirror I see Harlow's hands trying to reach for the doll. Salem snatches it further from her reach causing Harlow to cry. "Can't you let her hold him for a little bit?".

"No! Olaf is mine!" Salem said. Sighing cause I already saw the stress I would have to deal with. "Harlow don't worry daddy is going to stop and get you a treat, okay?".

"What about me?!" Salem asked.

"You're the reason she's crying" I said.

"No it's not! She's crying cause she wants what's mine" she said.

"Either way it's your fault. So no" I said.

"No fair" Salem whined. Closing my eyes for a split second at the red light. And I didn't even get to work yet. Going through the drive thru at Dunkin' Donuts I got Harlow a small donut. That kept her quiet. Looking at them throw the mirror I saw Harlow smiling at Salem slowly eating the donut. Shaking my head cause this was getting ridiculous.

Why are all my kids so petty?!.

Finally reaching my job. I helped them both out but separated them as we walked. "Hello Mr. Reid. Are these your kids?" My secretary asked.

"Yes this is Salem and this is Harlow" I said. The woman smiled and knelt down to their level "Well you two are so beautiful. Do you both want a lollipop?". Both girls nodded. The woman handed them two different lollipop. Harlow looked at hers and back at Salem's. She reached around and grabbed Salem's and gave her hers. "Daddy! Harlow took my lollipop " Salem stomped her foot in anger. The woman quickly got up and sat back down.

"Look, you two need to stop. It's too early for this" I said. Nothing else was said. They walked with me to the elevator. "Press all the buttons" Salem said.

"No" I said. She pouted and stood to the wall. Reaching my floor I held their hands walking them to my office. "Daddy this room is big!" Salem said. Harlow ran to the window and just saw the view. Salem ran next to her to see it too. While they were busy with that I tried to get some work done.

My partner's wife happened to be here today. She knocked on my door while opening it. "Hey Mr.Reid! I'm here helping my husband today. Oh my! Who are these beautiful little girls?".

"These are my daughters" I said.

"My goodness they are beautiful! What's your names?" She knelt down. Harlow mean mugged her and came running to me. Salem just ignored her and went back to playing with her doll. She stood up a little embarrassed "they must be shy". Harlow was now on my lap just watching this woman closely.

"Anyway I'll put these papers over here" she placed the papers in front of Harlow who I swear growled. A few hours later Salem whined that she was hungry. "In a minute. Let me finish what I'm doing" she huffed throwing herself in the chair.

When I finished the phone-call I had to make I swung my chair around to see no one. My office door was slightly open. "You can't be serious!" I said. Running out my office I didn't see neither Salem or Harlow. My secretary stood up "is everything okay?".

"No! My Kids are missing! Did you see where they went?" I asked.

"No sir, I'm sorry I didn't see anything" she said. My partners wife approached me "what's going on?".

"His kids are missing" my secretary answered. My partners wife covered her mouth "oh no". I couldn't waste time with them. I started running looking all over the place. Remembering Salem complaining she was hungry. I raced to the cafeteria. There they were eating away.

"Daddy!" Salem yelled while she shoved a piece of bread into her mouth. Harlow was all smiles eating from her sister. "You two can never do that again! You hear me!" I warned.

"We were hungry and you was taking too long" Salem said.

"Doesn't matter! You wait! Anything could've happened to you" I said. They both stopped eating and looked down "Sorry daddy" Salem said. Harlow didn't say anything she just looked down. "What are you two eating anyway? And how did you get this?".

"That man over there gave it to us. He said we looked hungry" Salem said. Looking at the man who worked behind the counter he nodded. Never again are these two coming with me to work. After they ate we made our way back upstairs. My partners wife smiled when she saw Salem and Harlow were okay. "Oh you found them. Good" she said. Harlow gave her a mean look once again. Salem didn't say anything to her. "Daddy can you open the door". I did what she asked me to do.

The rest of the day they were quiet and not arguing. I got my work done and we went home. Well not before stopping at a drive thru to get some type of dinner for them.
