DELANO POV

After what happened I was upset, guilty, confused all at the same time. I wanted to avoid Bria at all cost but I won't lie and say we didn't hook up the whole time Gia was gone. By the time gia was expected back I was in a very bad mood. I guess you can say that was guilt eating me up.

The door opened and Gia and Ryan walked in. Ryan ran straight to me and hugged my leg. "Daddy I missed you!". Picking him up I smiled "I missed you too!".

He jumped down and ran to his room. If you're wondering if bria is still here she's not. She left last night. "That was the longest flight ever" Gia said.

"Did you guys have fun? Wait? Arizona from here should have been a long flight" I said. Gia laughed "it wasn't meant to be taken seriously".

Raising my brow cause that comment alone made me think. But I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. She hurried herself to the kitchen. Walking slowly behind her "so how is your dad?".

She shrugged "he's fine".

"That's it? You guys didn't do anything else?" I asked. She turned around "no! Was there something I was suppose to do?".

"No just curious that's all" I said.

She rolled her eyes and walked passed me. Something wasn't right. Hmm... "How come you didn't tell bria you were going to be in Arizona this week?".

"She knew. But apparently she was already going on vacation" she said.

"Interesting" I said. She stopped unpacking and looked at me "What is it with the third degree?".

"Just know you tell her everything and she came here looking for you claiming you never told her anything. Thought that was weird. Since you tell her everything and anything" I said.

"Well I did. Ask my dad" she said.

Usually I know when Gia is lying. Her skills at lying wasn't the best. "What?!".

"Nothing" I said.

"No! There's something wrong. What? You think I'm lying on where I went? Is that it?" She asked.

"I mean... coming from the girl who traveled the country already without my knowledge. Then you claim it was the longest flight. Then I don't know if I could believe you told Bria where you were going" I said.

Gia let out a small laugh "you can't be serious! I knew I should've stayed an extra day than to come back to the same old tiring bullshit that is you Delano".

"Stop yelling! Don't need Ryan seeing this or hearing us" I said.

"Sometimes I wonder would Ryan be better off with us not being together... cause this is toxic!" She yelled.

"Gia..." I warned.

She shook her head and disappeared upstairs. Closing my eyes cause now I feel like shit has hit a new level of fucked up. Later on, we were around the table eating or at least I was eating. Gia was sitting there with her arms crossed over her chest. Ryan was looking at the both of us. "Gia you need to eat".

"I'm not hungry" she said.

"Yeah but you have a baby to feed. So eat up" I said.

"I'll eat when I'm hungry! Stop trying to control everything I do" she said. My phone went off and I knew who it was. Getting up I left the table to text bria. When I came back Gia was not at the table but her plate was full of food. Ryan wasn't there either.

In a way talking to bria was a load off my mind. Like I said things with Gia and I wasn't good. The next day I woke up and Gia wasn't in bed. When I went downstairs she was on the phone. Of course I decided to eavesdrop on the conversation. Gia had a bad habit of putting everyone on speaker. The voice I didn't recognize.

"It's like he's trying to see it I was lying and I wasn't" she said.

"He needs to relax!" The voice said. It sounded like mans voice.

"I know, right! I'm just sick and tired of the accusations" she said.

"Listen don't worry about it. Just focus on Ryan" the voice said.

"You're right! Thanks" she ended the call. I came out of my hiding place "who was that?". She jumped "Jesus! Delano!".

"Yeah scared you right... just when you want to be speaking to a guy on the phone" I said.

"I'm not doing this" she tried to walk away. Grabbing her back "who was that?".

"Delano get out of my face" she said.

"You know why I accuse of things? It's because you do shit like this. I'm asking you who were you just talking to and you refuse to answer the question. But then I'm wrong for accusing you of things" I said.

"Are you done?" She asked.

With all that was going on I was about to lose it. She tried to loosen my grip on her. "Can you let me go?".

"No. Not until you tell me who was on the phone" I said.

"Guess we will be here all day then" she said. I hated when Gia was sarcastic. She would always use it at the worst time. "Coming from someone who cheated in the past... you have the nerve to even accuse me of anything that I didn't do".

Looking at Gia... I just saw what I've been doing for the past week. The hidden truth buried within my mind. Letting her go she stormed off. I punched the wall in frustration.
