GIA POV
"Listen, you never stated I couldn't touch myself. You just said no sex! So if you really think about it I didn't cheat" Delano said.
Turning to him "look fine, just because I don't want to hear about this anymore. We'll just start this bet over. This time no sex. No touching ourselves to relieve any urge we have. It's strictly no kind of sexual touching or doing".
He smiled "good I was about to say..."
Rolling my eyes I tried to get comfy in the bed. Turning onto my side "these babies are stubborn. They don't want to move" I whined.
"Try massaging your stomach. It'll help them shift" he said.
"Has someone been doing their homework?" I asked.
"Gia we been through this four times. I've picked up a few things from each pregnancy but Harlow's. Cause I wasn't there". Tilting my head "Sorry".
"Don't worry about it. We were in a tough place and you did what you thought would be protecting Harlow" he said.
"No that wasn't it. I wanted to hurt you in a way you hurt me by what you did. I was being spiteful and purposely kept that pregnancy a secret and Harlow for ten months after. It wasn't fair to you. Especially when you are a good father" I said. He grabbed my hand and squeezed "thank you for that".
He kissed me and turned off the light. We both fell asleep at the same time. When I woke up I heard a blood curling scream. Delano and I jumped up not knowing what was going on. The scream happened again. We raced where it was coming from. When we got to Salem and Harlow's room that's where the sound was coming from. Pushing the door open "are you crazy to be screaming like that?!".
When I caught a glimpse of Salem she was holding pieces of her hair on her hand. Looking at her bed I saw the clump pieces on her pillow. That's when I really looked at her. Her hair was short. And I mean it was up to her shoulders short. Blinking a few times to make sure I wasn't seeing things. "What the hell happened to your hair?!". She came to me and cried into my clothing. Delano came in and saw the scene.
He sighed "this has to stop!. Where is Harlow?"
Looking around I didn't see anyone. All I saw was hair. Grabbing Salem's head and looking at the damage "it's not that bad. I can fix this for you".
"Mommy I'm ugly now! Harlow made me ugly!" She cried.
"Just because your hair isn't long doesn't make you ugly. Hair is hair. It'll grow back. You're still pretty with or without the hair" I said. She wiped her tears and looked at me "really?".
I nodded "yeah you and Harlow are both beauties. Just because you both look different doesn't make either of you better looking than the other". Delano came in "I found Harlow".
"Okay... Salem stay in here while daddy and I speak to Harlow" I said. She nodded still wiping her tears. Harlow was sitting on the couch of course with no remorse on her face. Delano and I sat down across from her "Harlow this beef you have with Salem has to stop".
"Let me talk" I said. He sat back giving me the floor to speak "Harlow why did you cut your sisters hair?".
"Because she loved it so much. She's always brushing it. Then she told me that's why she's prettier than me cause her hair was longer than mine. So I cut it" she said.
"Harlow... like I told Salem. Hair doesn't make you pretty or ugly. You both are beautiful little girls. You may look different from one another but that shouldn't matter. It's what inside that makes someone beautiful. Not what's on the outside".
She looked down "oh".
"Now you do know you'll be in trouble for this. You went too far with what you did. So you'll be on punishment for two whole weeks. No television, or tablet" I said.
"Aw man!" She said.
"And Salem as well will be punished. She shouldn't have taunted you with what she said. She needs to learn to think before she speaks. Sounds like someone I know". Delano side eyed me "keep focus".
"Now I want you to say sorry to Salem and vice versa. And Salem will mean it this time" I said.
She nodded.
"Salem?! Come here" I yelled. She came in with a baseball hat on covering her face. "Harlow has something to say".
"Sorry" she said.
Salem looked at me "and you?".
"Sorry Harlow!" She said. Both girls walked away from each other. Lord I don't get what's the beef. But then again Salem nursed this to happen. Instead of leaving Harlow alone when keeps going after her.
Delano shook his head "Harlow has gone too far".
"I know" I said.
"What do you think we do?" He asked.
"I mean we could always take Harlow to get therapy or maybe we can get in contact with my therapist from Arizona. You know like a face time. She was good!" I said.
Delano nodded "good idea! Maybe it'll help Harlow to stop being so angry".
"Hopefully. I'm not expecting a miracle" I said.
