I'm going to try and explain why Salem is so on Kai. Bare with me...
DELANO POV
"Yes did I completely understand. My daughter is very sorry" these people from chuckie cheese called me about what took place. "Yup! I hope the mouse isn't hurt".
"Oh he is! I don't recall my daughter biting him though the costume" saying the mouse is traumatized. He works with kids all the time. In fact, he should be used to this. "Totally agree, yes!" I said.
Trying my to just tell these people what they want to hear. Harlow was something else. Speak of the devil she came hugging my leg "Daddy!". Shaking my head cause she knew what she did was wrong. She smiled at me and went on her way.

KAI POV

Walking into Salem's room and standing at the door frame "so I heard you two took out the mouse. Good job". Salem looked up at me pissed off "Umm no Harlow took out the mouse".
"Damn Harlow! The mouse though?" I asked. Harlow laughed "he wouldn't give me a necklace".
"But you don't bite the Mouse. Maybe hit him but not using teeth" I said.
"Oh well! Maybe next time he'll know better" she said.
"You'll be lucky there's a next time. They probably banned you both from ever going there" I said. Salem sucked her teeth "see?! Harlow you are always messing up stuff".
"It is pretty funny though" I smiled.
"Whatever" Salem said.
"You'll survive! It's only chuckie cheese. There's other places you can go" I said. She didn't respond to what I said. Usually that means Salem is mad. You know she may be a pest but she's also my little sister. I can understand why she's under me all the time.
Back when we were in Arizona. Salem was probably around one I believe. Still a baby. But at the time I knew what our dad was doing. And I wanted to protect her from that. She was too young to witness that.
When mom and dad would argue. Salem usually was right there. So I made it my job to get her and take her to my room and distract her from the yelling going on. Sitting on my bed and giving her my tablet she looked at me and hugged me. Ever since then she's been on me.
She didn't like that I moved out of moms house back in Arizona. Sometimes at night when she would have bad dreams she would come into my room and sleep. It's like I was her safety net. But don't get me wrong Salem can be very clingy and annoying. I've done the same with Harlow and she hasn't had the same response.
"Why are you just standing there?" She asked.
"Just thinking" I said.
Now the relationship between Ryan and Salem I will never understand. That doesn't make sense why Salem doesn't like him. She'll have to answer that on her own. "Kai can I go in your room?" She asked.
"I'm shocked! You're asking permission before just barging in?" I asked.
She rolled her eyes "yes or no?".
I nodded. She jumped up and walked out the room leaving Harlow there.

GIA POV
Seeing water on the floor by the bathroom door. Walking to see what the hell is going on. Pushing the bathroom door open more I see the toilet overflowed causing a puddle on the floor. Noticing one of Harlow's toys on the floor... "Harlow!" I yelled.
She came skipping to me "Yes?".
"Were you in here?" I asked.
"Um... maybe" she said.
"Your toy is right there so that means yes. What did you do to the toilet?" I asked.
She shrugged "nothing".
Opening the toilet and seeing Salem's elsa doll floating in the water. Harlow tried to flush it but it didn't flush. "Why is Salem's doll here?".
"Because it's where it belongs. Like Salem she belongs here" she said.
"So Salem belongs in the toilet?" I asked.
She nodded with a smile.
Lord.
"Well since you want to play with the toilet... you'll help clean up the mess" I said. She mean mugged me. "Fix your face" I warned. After we both cleaned up the bathroom I took Salem's doll and placed it in my room to dry off. That's the one thing I don't want to hear is her whining. It'll just lead to a fight with Harlow.

SALEM POV
Laying on kai's bed with his tablet in my hand. I loved being in here. It was my safe place. Anytime I was mad, sad, or whatever I always came to lay in here. It always made me feel a lot better. From ever since. That's why I like Kai so much. He's kind of like daddy. They do so much to make me feel better.
Ryan walked into the room and I just stared at him. He looked at me and went to get what he came in the room for. Not for nothing. But Ryan was born first. Ever since then mom and dad have been having problems.
Sometimes I think Ryan was the start of the problem between them. Maybe I'm wrong. But I'm just looking at it for what it is. If maybe Kai or I were born first things could be different. They could love each other and not fight all the time. Just like when we lived in Arizona they had a big fight which led to dad leaving. He left for a whole night and came back. And the fight continued. Kai tried to shield me from all of that but I sensed something was wrong.
Then one day... dad and I were home alone and someone came to visit. It was auntie Bria. That's when I saw the second reason for the fighting. We all knew about it. I just couldn't say anything cause I couldn't talk. But I love my daddy.
