DELANO POV

Kai and I went to a hockey game. He's really interested in the sport. He was happy when he figured out where we were going. Now the only thing is I had to take him out of school since the game is a city over. Kai had no care in the world that he wasn't going to school.

Gia is taking the rest of the kids today. Since we won't be back until tonight. "Dad I'm so excited!" He said.

"Knew you would be. Too bad you can't play hockey here. Maybe when we move since the weather is different you could play" I said.

"Oh yeah! That's right" he said. Glancing at him while he was too busy looking out the window. I must say that when Gia was pregnant with Kai I had no clue he would look exactly like me. Gia had no making in this boy. "Kai are you going to cut your hair?".

"No! I like my hair. And it's like your hair" he said.

"True and we have cool hair" I joked.

"At least I'll get a break from Salem today" he smiled.

"Your sister loves you a lot. She can't help but express it to you" I said.

"Dad, there's love and then there's Salem. She's always on me!" He said.

"You should be happy. Some siblings don't get along like you and Salem". He rolled his eyes "Yeah okay". About an hour later we pulled up to the venue. Kai couldn't wait to get out the car. He hopped out and ready to go inside. Never seen a kid so excited before. Actually no, Salem when she watches frozen beats this.

We walked inside and they had a little part of the place where you can buy shirts and other stuff. I got Kai a shirt and we took a seat on the small couch. "This is so cool".

As long as he was happy then I was happy

As long as he was happy then I was happy. They opened the doors so we could get our seats. Luckily for Kai we got front row. When he realized where we were sitting he was beside himself "front row?!".

I nodded "if you come to a hockey game you have to get front row. That's how you'll catch all the fights".

"Dad? Have you ever been to a game before?" He asked.

"Yeah one game but a long time ago. It's an experience" I said.

"Cool, I'm happy we did this today!" He smiled. All I'm trying to do is make all our kids happy. Salem saw frozen live with Harlow. Now Kai is experiencing a hockey game. Next is Ryan and we are good.

GIA POV

I was off today. Thank god!...hottest day of the year so far. It's literally a hundred degrees outside. But you won't feel it too much cause the humidity isn't high. But it was still hot though. So my central air was on the coldest temp.

"Mommy can we have McDonald's?" Salem asked.

"Do you have McDonald's money?" I asked. This little girl went into her pockets and went into her bag and gave me a dollar "there! You can use this".

"Salem a happy meal is like three dollars. You can get a drink for a dollar. You thirsty?" I asked.

"Mommy Stop!" She whined.

"Me? You're the one who wants McDonald's but all you have is a dollar" I said. She gave me a mean look "Wait until daddy comes home. He will get me McDonald's".

"Well guess what? Daddy won't be back until late tonight. So you're eating this chicken I cooked" I said. She stormed away and threw herself into the couch. Kids now and days. Harlow looked at her confused. But she kept eating her snack. Looking at the time I noticed Ryan wasn't here yet.

Maybe he missed the bus again. I went back to cooking not worrying too much. Delano sent me a video on text of him and Kai chanting for the winning team. Those two are twins. Delano made Kai all on his own.

"How cute!" I texted.

"Are the kids okay?" He texted.

"Yeah you know Salem. Ryan isn't here yet though. Is he usually on time?" I texted.

"Yeah he's always home at the same time. He either missed the bus or he stopped at the store" he texted.

"I guess so. Anyway have fun!" I texted.

Putting my phone down I went to finish cooking. "Salem don't you have homework to do?".

"Yeah!" She said.

"Well you need to go do it" I said. She got up and took her sweet time going in her room to do her homework. Usually she got letter tracing or numbers. Just small stuff. After a good five minutes I didn't hear anything. Now when any of the children are quiet.. I always go check up on them.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Umm..." she laughed.

"I know you aren't doing your homework" I said.

"I was!" She said.

"Salem take what you have to do and go around the table and do it. Can't trust you to sit here alone and get it done. So let's go!" I said. She grabbed what she needed and ran out her room. Looking at the time it was now six. Where the hell is ryan?".

Calling his phone but it straight to voicemail... something isn't right. My stomach was starting to hurt. Calling Delano...

"We are just leaving" he said.

"Ryan isn't here. He never came home! Something is wrong!" I tried my best to be calm.

"What?!... did you call him?" He asked.

"Yes! But it's off" I said.

"Look we are on our way back. Then we will go looking for him. Hopefully he's not in trouble" he said.

I sighed "okay..." Ryan where are you?!. My nerves were starting to get all over the place. Delano needs to hurry up and get back.
