"Daddy I had so much fun!" Harlow jumped up and down in total excitement.
"That's good. I'm happy you're happy. But let's go in here and eat" I said. She kept jumping but followed what I asked her to do. Opening the door for her she walked inside. The hostess sat us down "Daddy I'm starving!".
"Good cause I'm starving too" I smiled. We sat there and she was so happy. I've never seen Harlow this happy before. "Daddy did you have fun?" She asked.
I nodded "of course I did".
"Good" she smiled. She sat on her knees cause she was a little short for this table. "So Harlow I just wanted to clarify something... you may think I favor Salem and all. But I don't. I love each and one of you guys the same".

She was picking at her food "you and Salem have this bond. It's like how Ryan and mommy are".
"As a father... I feel like I have a special bond with all of you" I said.
"You don't get it" she said.
"Salem—- Harlow I get it!" I said.
"You just called me Salem?!" She asked.
"My mistake. It happens when you have too many children. Names tend to cross" I said. She laughed when I said that "but I'm trying here".

"Harlow I love you a lot. I don't want you thinking that I love Salem anymore than I love you. It's all equal" I said.
She nodded "I love you too". We continued to eat our food. Once the dessert came she was in her glory. "Someone likes sweets" I joked.
"I love sweets. But mommy tells me I won't have any teeth cause they'll fall out" she said.
"Mommy is correct. You need to slow down on the sweets" I said.
"Ah man!. Daddy do you like jokes?" She asked.
"Why you got some for me?" I asked.
She nodded "what kind is shorts so clouds put on?".
I shrugged "I don't know what?".
She laughed "thunderwear!".

Can't lie it was funny. She was hysterical laughing at her own joke. "Get it thunderwear!".
"You like jokes, huh?" I asked.
"I'm the best at it" she said. Who knew Harlow was such a comedian. And this whole time I thought she was a pending psychopath. She was just misunderstood. When we were finished I helped her off the chair and she held onto my hand. "Ready?".
She nodded "yup".

GIA POV
I wanted to know how Harlow was doing on her daddy daughter date. Hopefully everything went well.
Salem came to sit next to me on the couch "Mommy I'm bored!".
"You better go read a book" I said.
She sighed "You're no help to my boredom!".
"I'm not supposed to. You're on punishment so you're supposed to feel it" I said. She crossed her arms over her chest "where's Harlow?". That's when the door opened and Harlow came skipping inside. All smiles!.
Delano came in after closing the front door. Harlow came over to me "Mommy look what daddy got me!".
"Oh how cute! You can put it with the other mermaids you have" I said. She hugged the doll and twirled.
"Well Harlow has a great time with me today" Delano said.
"Good I'm happy!" I said.
Salem sucked her teeth "isn't Harlow on punishment too? Then how come she gets to go out with daddy?!".
"Because I said it was okay. Stay in your lane before your punishment goes for the rest of the month" I warned.
"That's no fair! I'm punished for something she did to me! I never put my hands on Harlow but I'm sitting here in the house!" She whined.
"Salem shut your mouth. You were with me half the day" I said.
"Yeah! But running errands! That's boring. But Harlow gets to go out out with daddy?!. No fair!" She said .
"I dare you to speak again" I said. She looked at me and back at Harlow. Salem's face said it all. She didn't need to speak. "And fix your face!" I said.
Harlow stood there just watching everything with nothing said. She turned to Delano and back at me. Throwing her doll down on the ground she ran to her room slamming the door shut.
I sighed "happy now?!. Salem you are older than her why don't you start acting your age!".
When I said that her face softened up. Delano shook his head and went to the kitchen. Meanwhile I went to check on Harlow but the door was locked. "Harlow? Can you please open the door?".
"No" she said.
"Please? I just want to talk" I said.
"No" she said.
"I have your doll. The one daddy got for you" I said.
"Throw it away. I don't want it" she said.
"Not true" I said.
She didn't say anything else. Rolling my eyes cause she was so happy when she got home and now she's pissed off.
