GIA POV

Harlow and I were at the doctor. I needed a piece of mind. "Doctor again?!" She whined.

"Not for you. For me" I said. She quickly smiled "oh okay".

"Mommy sick?" She asked.

"Nope, just need to make sure of something" I said.

"Oh" she went back to looking at my phone. Harlow was such an easy child. Unlike Salem who would ask a million and one questions. "Gia? You can come back with me". We both got up and walked to the back of the office. "Why are you here?" The medical assistant asked.

"Well I'm pregnant" I smiled.

"Oh congratulations! Wow you're going to be a big sister!". Harlow looked up and back at the phone. She could care less. "Aw, she's not excited now but she will be". The medical assistant took my vitals "the doctor will be in soon". Closing the door Harlow looked up "me? A big sister?".

I nodded "yup. You won't be the baby anymore".

"Like How Salem is big sister..." she said.

"Yeah exactly. You'll be a big sister" I said. She smiled a little and went back to the phone. The doctor knocked opening the door. "Oh and who's this beauty?" She asked.

"That's Harlow!" I said. She extended her hand "Hello Harlow. Pretty name". Harlow smiled but hid behind my arm. "She's shy I see".

"Sometimes not all the time" I joked.

"Well tell me what's up?" She asked.

"I found out I'm pregnant" I said.

"Congratulations!. But let me check myself and then we'll go from there" she said. Making me take a pregnancy test which came back positive. "Well since we established you are pregnant. When was your last menstrual?".

"I believe it was last month around the eighth" she nodded and took out this calendar looking oval. "Alrighty you are approximately six weeks pregnant" the level of relief that filled my body..

"Oh thank god!" I mumbled.

"Which means due date will be late August" I smiled it came close to Delano's birthday and Salem's. I couldn't be happier. "Is there anything else?" She asked.

"Nope. But thank you" she nodded and waved at Harlow who closed her eyes. After my doctors visit Harlow and I went to my job. Daycare in the job scene is an amazing thing. Letting her go in the daycare I went upstairs. As soon as I opened the door the looks I got. The same woman who befriended me ran to me "Gia I don't think it's a good idea that you came to work today".

"I can see why" I said.

"Look did you sleep with Jacob?" She asked.

"I think so... that night is very fuzzy" I said. She sighed "Jacob is the son of the CEO of this company. He's also married". My mouth dropped wide open "I didn't know that"

"How would you know? He knows a lot of doctors and so on and so forth. And what happened everyone knows about it. You might get fired for this" she said.

I couldn't say anything. Getting one good news and coming here and just automatically making my day bad. Someone walked by me and whispered "home-wrecker".

"Yeah I don't think it'll be a good idea for you to be here today. You should just go on home" she said. Looking around and seeing people whispering to one another. The tension in here was not good. Turning on my heel and just going to get Harlow and getting out of there. That's when I bumped into Jacob. He winked at me but didn't say anything.

When I got home... I was around the kitchen table helping Harlow trace her letters for school. "Mommy how come I can't use a pen?".

"Cause if you make a mistake you can't erase it" I said.

"Oh yeah okay" she went back to tracing. Delano walked in but didn't say anything. He's been giving me the silent treatment ever since. "Daddy still grumpy?".

I nodded "I think so".

"Hey Salem!" Delano smiled.

"Hi daddy! I guess he's not grumpy with me!" She said. "Go in your own while I try and talk to daddy" hoping off the chair she raced right into kai's room.
Putting the paper in front of him "I'm six weeks which means it's yours".

"Doesn't erase the fact you cheated, Gia" he said.

"Never said it would. But now you don't have to question if this baby is yours. I told you already I'm
Sorry about what happened. I wish I could remember what happened. But I can't". Delano looked at me and back at the paper.

"And I heard I messed things up at work as well. Don't think I'll be working there anymore due to what happened" I said.

He didn't say anything.

"I know you're mad at me. So I won't take anymore of your time. Just wanted to let you know you are the father of this baby" I was about to walk away. But Delano got up and grabbed my wrist. "I hate the fact that some other man touched you. Or even had you in the way I have you every other night. Only my fingerprints should be on you. Now he's had a piece of you. But because I don't want to have the kids wondering anything. I'm willing to turn a blind eye to what you did. Doesn't mean I forgive you for what you did but I'm willing to just forget it" he hugged me.
