My office door swung open. I looked up to see a very upset Gia. "Well hello to you to! And you're late" I said.

"Don't give me that bull crap" she said.

My other employee becka ran inside "I told you he's busy Gia!".

Gia turned to becka with attitude written all over her face "becka take a chill pill and stop kissing the bosses ass. He don't want you anyway! Trust me". Becka seemed a little taken back and glanced at me. She quickly exited my office leaving Gia and I there.

"Well Someone is in a good mood today" I said.

"Really? Sarcasm cute! Now why in the world did you tell anyone and everyone we hooked up and that I'm pregnant!".

"Excuse me? I didn't say anything" I said.

"That's hard to believe! Since everyone I walk past is giving me the damn eye. And never mind I had at least four people ask me if it was true that I'm pregnant for you!".

"Gia, I didn't tell anyone anything" I said.

She smirked "like you would tell me the truth anyway".

"I'm being honest. By the way you look nice today" I smiled.

"Don't even start with that today" she warned.

"Just giving you a compliment" I said. She huffed and stormed out of my office. Now I could just let her go and not be sucked into this drama. But I couldn't just let her go. I got up and chased her down "Gia Wait?".

"Get away from me!" She yelled.

"Can you stop?" I asked. She stopped in full speed and turned to me "What?".

"Look I didn't tell anyone about what happened. So it wasn't me" I said. She crossed her arms over her chest and just looked around. "I feel like everyone is watching me!".

"I don't want you stressing... I read it's not good for the baby" I said.

She smiled "you read up on pregnancy?".

I nodded "yeah I did".

"Wow! I'm shocked" she said. Bria came up behind her smiling at me "Delano I can't believe you opened up your mouth and told basically everyone".

"Again, I didn't say anything!" I said. Two of my employees smiled at me giving me the thumbs up. Gia shook her head and walked off. "Gia?" I yelled. She flipped me off. Great. Just when I thought my day would go smooth for once.

"Wow she's mad at you" Bria smiled. Ignoring her at all cost I went back to my office. My mind was so worried about Gia I couldn't focus on anything. Looking out the window I saw her walking along the shore front. Even though she should be in the concession stand.

In about two days I was having a bring your family barbecue. Which meant employees were allowed to bring their family to come eat and have fun. I gave everyone a slip to fill out so I knew the headcount. But Gia's I never got back. Calling her over the intercom to come to my office. About ten minutes later she strolled in.

"What?" She said.

"You never handed in the slip" I said.

"Maybe it's because I'm not coming" she said.

Staring at her for a short time "and why not?".

"For one I can't keep anything down. And second I don't want to come so.." she said.

"But Bria is coming. Don't you two do everything together?" I asked.

"Well I guess we don't. She's not pregnant is she? So I guess we don't do everything together. But have fun at the barbecue!" She said. Gia's sarcasm was at an all time high today. "How are you feeling?".

She shrugged "puking everywhere! But I'm pregnant so... that's part of the package. Right?".

I nodded "just make sure you try and eat". My office door opened and it was another employee "how can I help you?". He turned to see Gia standing there. "Wow so I guess it's true".

Gia rolled her eyes "oh my god! Yes it's true. Now can we move on with life?".

The employee smirked "wow! Never would've thought you two together. I guess Bria was right. Damn Gia! And I was going to ask you out". My eyes pierced through this young man.

"Well you're too late" she said.

"How can I help you?" Now I was annoyed.

"Umm... damn I forgot" he said.

"Then leave" I said. Watching him very closely as he walked out my office closing the door behind him. Gia smirked "can't control yourself, huh?".

Glancing up at her "Gia... you can go now too".

"Oh thank you so much! And I don't feel well. Too much sun today" she said. Not saying anything. "So I'll just clock out and go on home to rest".

"Gia? If you touch the clock... I'll dock your pay. So when you leave this office you will go back to the concession stand. Understand?" I said.

She fanned me "yeah yeah yeah... sour puss! Geez! Let a guy come in here giving me any sort of attention and sour puss Delano comes out. Anyway now I have to go find bria to tear into her on why she opened her mouth". I didn't respond back. She strolled out of my office and I saw she was talking to the same employee who was just in here.

Getting up I opened the door... "Gia don't you have somewhere to be?". She rolled her eyes and walked away. "And you? Go do something productive and stay away from Gia". He nodded and ran off.
