Kai opened my door "mom umm we need to talk". My eyes lit up she told him something. Kai took a seat on my bed "What she told me was very disturbing!".
Before Kai could even open his mouth again. Delano came in along with this big ass dog. I jumped back because the dog ran straight towards me jumping on me. "Guess what I got for Salem?!".
Shaking my head cause the dog wasn't the answer. "Why is their a big dog in this house?" I asked.
"It's for Salem!" He said. Kai face palmed himself. We were both thinking the same exact thing. "What? You don't like the dog?!".

"Delano a dog might not be the solution to the problem. And who's going to walk this thing anyway? Also, we don't have any food for it!. Does it have it shots?!" I asked.
"Yes It has its shots. And I got everything for it" he said. Turning to Kai so he could finish telling me about what he found out. "Anyway Kai... go ahead".
Kai raised his brow at the fact his dad literally brought a dog in here "Yeah well Salem told me that she blamed herself for Bria getting killed. And that old teacher she had... well he's been inappropriate with her".
"What do you mean inappropriate?" I asked.
"She claims he's been touching her face and hair" he said. Covering my mouth because this man was trying to molest our daughter. Delano stood there with his mouth open. Kai waved his hand in front of Delano's face "dad? Hello".
Delano's face was stuck. His face slowly got red. The dog sensed something was off and started barking. Covering my ears cause the barking was too loud. Salem walked out of kai's room rubbing her eyes "what's that noise?".
"Daddy got you a dog!" Kai said. Salem's eyes lit up "a doggy?! For me?!". Delano nodded "yup it's all for you so you can feel better!". Salem and the dog stared at each other. The dog walked closer to her sniffing her. Then it took a seat on her lap. "The dog is cute!".
"See! Told you the dog was going to help" he said.
Harlow came out hearing all the noise and saw Salem with a dog and smiled "we get doggy?!".
"This dog is mine! Not yours Harlow!" She said. Harlow gave Delano her usual puppy eyes with a little tears filling it. "Salem you could always share the dog".
"No! Harlow always wants what I have. I'm not sharing this time" she took the dog with her to kai's room. Harlow started to sniffle. "You didn't think this one through" I said. Delano ran his fingers through his hair "I guess I didn't. But now with Salem! It's like we can never get a break no matter where we go!".
"I'll be damned if she ends up getting molested and than that's it. That's going to mess her up for the rest of her life. I refuse that!. I'll be making a visit to that school tomorrow morning. I'm withdrawing her from that terrible place and she's going to private school".
"Gia let me handle this pedophile. Plus, I have to pay Jacob another visit anyway. And with you being pregnant I don't want any issues. I let it slide with Bria but that's it" he said.
"Tomorrow withdraw her from that school. I'll do my research on private schools and we can see which ones will be good enough for her. Maybe when Harlow turns five we put her in there as well. At least they'll be protected from nasty disgusting assholes!".
Delano just stood there rubbing his hand over his chin. "I'm convinced no matter where we move we'll always have to deal with bullshit. Our children should be able to be free and not have to worry about others trying to harm them".
"You're right! I think Ryan is the only one who's never really worried about someone coming for him" I said.
"Salem is different. She's not like the other three. She's very sensitive. The simplest thing makes her emotional. And with this going on... I'm hoping it doesn't mess her up".
"What do we tell her though? She's going to ask why we are changing schools?!" I asked.
"We'll just tell her that it'll be best if Harlow and her go to private school. That way the boys are in the same school and the girls can be in the same schools" he said.
"I guess! God I just want to bash this man's head in for even trying to molest Salem! Like what the fuck gives him that right to mentally fuck up someone because of his disgusting habit!" I said.
"Salem is fine. Once we change schools and then get her some intense therapy. I have faith she'll be okay" I looked at Delano but I knew that might not work "also we need to speak to her about Bria. Don't want her blaming herself for what happened. And we need to be completely honest". Delano nodded "I agree".
"But I'm going to go out for a bit. I'll be back. Oh and I left the dog food and bowl on the table. The dog will probably be hungry soon so..." mean mugging him "it's your dog. Why are you telling me for?".
"Gia..." he said.
"Gia nothing. I think I'm going to change my name so you can't say it anymore" I joked. He smirked at me. "Don't even say it" I warned.
"You're lucky I have to go do something" he smirked. Getting up I went to see the mess of dog things I have to assort. Can not believe we have a dog.
