GIA POV

When I said these two babies were the best... I lied. They don't sleep. If one wakes up... the other wakes up. I'm starting to resemble a raccoon. Here I am swaddling river as he finally calmed down. Delano had Ryder just walking around the house with her.

"Gia, did they ever sleep in the womb?" Delano asked.

I shrugged "I mean they wouldn't kick so much at night. So maybe".

"Hmm maybe they're confused" he said. Salem game skipping into the room. "Hey mommy!". Glancing at her she was all smiles. "What's up?" I asked.

"Well I wanted to know I can go to a Ariana Grande concert?" She asked.

"A what? Aren't you a little young for that. I feel like she may look twelve but she's not" I said.

"Who cares how old she is... I like her music" she said.

I sighed "I would say to ask dad. But at the moment he won't hear anything you say and say yes anyway".

"I can go?" She asked.

"Fine" I said. She hugged me and glanced at River "he's so cute. Reminds me of Kai".

"But he isn't Kai... so don't get any ideas" I warned. She put her hands up and backed up. Delano walked inside slowly with Ryder finally sleeping. "I would put her down but I'm afraid she'll wake up".

"Just slowly sit on the bed and let her sleep a while before putting her down" I said. He joined me on the bed tired as well. My phone went off... I saw it was a Facebook message.

Now I never usually get Facebook messages. So this was a little odd. After putting river down in his crib... I looked at the message only to see it was from my brother. I haven't seen or spoken to him since that wedding where I met K at.

He sent me his info and wanted me to call him. "Who's that?" Delano asked.

"It's Rashad! He wants to talk to me" I said.

"Call him" he said.

Dialing the number he sent... the other end started ringing. "Hello?".

"Rashad?" I asked.

"Uh-Uh who this?" The person asked. "Let me find out sha-sha is cheating on me".

"No no it's his sister, Gia" I said.

"Hmm his sister? Oh snap! Yes! Shea moisture! Gurl how you doing?" He asked.

I laughed "I'm good! How are you, tony?".

"I'm good can't complain. But let me get him" he must've set the phone down. I heard him singing Rashad name. Lord these two. A few seconds later I heard the phone get picked up "Gia?".

"Hey Rashad!" I said.

"Oh my gawd! I was hoping you would call me! How's life? I miss my sister!" He went on.

"I'm good, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm good, very good. Tony and I are in the process of adopting" he said.

"Oh really?! Wow congrats" I said.

"Thanks! How's Ryan?" He asked.

"He's great. And fourteen now" I said.

"Fourteen?! What?! Damn! Anymore kids?" He asked.

"Well yeah... Kai, Salem, Harlow, Ryder and River" I said.

"Well damn Gia! Delano just loves getting you pregnant doesn't he?" He joked.

"How's dad? I haven't seen him in so long" I must admit. My dad wasn't the biggest help with my mom but he was a better dad than my biological.

"He's good. He just moved to California" he said.

"Oh okay..." I said.

"He always ask about you. I think guilt is finally starting to eat him up after the whole mom situation" he said.

"It's vodka under the bridge. I mean the women was pure evil. You never saw that side of her. But it's who she was. But I'm nothing like her. And I'm happy about that" I said.

"Gia I just want to say... I'm sorry that mom treated you the way she did. It wasn't right" he said.

"Don't apologize I'm on her behalf. You were always my brother. My pain in the ass" I joked. We shared a laugh on the phone "hey how about we go surprise dad? I haven't seen his new home yet. You can bring the family along as well".

"Umm let me talk to over with Delano and I'll get back to you" I said.

"Understandable... it was great speaking to you gia. Don't be a stranger now" he said.

"I won't" I said. We both ended the call. It felt good to speak to someone from my family. I wondered if my dad remarried?. Then again how can someone come back from being with that witch of a woman?.

"So how'd it go?" Delano walked up to me with Ryder not in his arms "oh you finally got to put her down?".

He nodded "but not wanting her to wake up was real".

"Umm Rashad is good. Tony and him are still together and are adopting a child. He told me my dad recently moved to California. And he wanted us to join him to go visit my dad" I said. Delano shrugged "I mean I'm not a huge fan of your dad. But if it'll help you then we'll go".

"Really? You'll go?" I asked.

He nodded again "yeah why not?".

"Okay then I'll call him back and let him know it's a go" I smiled. He pulled me to him and hugged me.
