GIA POV

Memory...

The day after that party I woke up feeling like shit. Never mind I was really drunk the night before. My head was pounding. Trying to get up from the bed but the room was spinning. Looking at the time it was still early. Taking a deep breath I made my first step towards the bathroom.

When I saw my reflection my hair was all over the place. My mascara was stained around my eyes. Shaking my head cause I looked like death. But something caught my eye. Was that a hickey on my neck?!. What the fuck?! It was all over my neck. Closing my eyes the memory of Delano came to mind. Scrunching up my face of the thought. Turning on the shower I stepped inside and just melted with the hot water.

Once I was done I got dressed and headed to work. My shades were on Cause I too close to puking up all I drank last night. Pulling up I got out and saw some people who were there last night. "Hey Gia!" One said. I waved and kept walking. Just wanted today to go by fast so I could go back to bed.

Viewing Delano from where I was. I sighed cause I would have to walk by him anyway. Dammit. Moving my feet as fast as I could. "Gia" he said.

"Can't really talk I need to clock in" I lied.

He grabbed my arm "Hey what's up?".

"You touching me is what's up. Don't touch me!" I grabbed my arm from his grasp. He looked a little confused. "Is there anything you need? Cause I'm not late so..."

He shook his head. I continued to walk to the employee room to clock in. What happened last night I rather not speak of. It was a mistake and that's it.

Bria walked in and sucked her teeth at me "what's your problem?".

"Other than I'm here... oh I don't know... maybe a friend should always stay on their lane. Can't believe you hooked up with Delano and you knew I liked him! You always do this!" She said.

"Hold up? I didn't sleep with him intentionally. I was drunk!" I said.

"Doesn't matter! You could've told him no. But instead you just opened your legs to him" she said.

"I can't believe we are having this conversation right now. If you wanted Delano then take him. You been trying to get him for months...I mean if he's not latching onto the bait then maybe he doesn't want it".

"You're such a whore!" She yelled.

"Me? Coming from the girl who slept with half the town. And you're calling me the one who lost her virginity last night a whore. Wow!" I said.

"Whatever Gia! Some friend you are!" She stormed out the room. I can never catch a damn break!. Then Delano placed me in the concession stand. You know what I won't even complain cause at least I have food to eat.

My hangover must've taken over cause I took a quick nap since it was slow. Hearing someone smacking the counter made me jump. Delano stood there "what are you doing?".

"Nothing! Jesus... for someone who owns this you seem not busy enough" I said.

"Gia were you sleeping?!" He asked.

"You call it sleeping and I call it resting my eyes" I said.

"If you can't handle partying and working then you shouldn't party" he said.

"Look... just because that happened last night which was a big mistake doesn't mean you can give me advice" I said.

"Are you okay? From last night" he asked.

"I'm fine, now can you leave me alone" I said.

"Just trying to be nice" he said.

"Right? How was it sneaking in your house after you left and saw your girlfriend sleeping?" I asked. He stood there just staring at me. He didn't say anything back... he just walked off.

Maybe he'll just move on from what happened and leave me alone! He got what he wanted, right?! I mean why else would Delano keep pursuing me?. It was now lunch time and I was starving. Usually Bria and I would eat together but she's still upset. I don't have time for her or her attitude today.

Don't know what's going on with me but I just don't have patience for anyone. My period must be on its way. By the time I got back I had only three more hours to deal with. Bria finally showed her face.

"I'm still upset about what you did. But I need to know was Delano worth it?" She asked.

I sighed "Bria I'm not going to even speak about what happened last night. It happened and it's over with. Life goes on. So anything regarding Delano and I I'm not talking about with you or anyone else" I said.

She rolled her eyes "Whatever! I'm leaving early today".

"Good for you! I want my bed" I said.

"Are you coming over today?" She asked.

"Nope just me and my bed today. I need more sleep" I said. She nodded "okay well I'll call you later". She walked away. Watching her walk I noticed someone watching me from Delano's office. You can't be serious?.
