Harlow walked by me very quietly and went into the boys room. Not thinking anything of it cause she's always in there. Most of the time she's on Ryan's bed using his tablet. Hearing their door open it got quiet. Then I heard a big boom and Harlow jetted out the room with Ryan falling all over the place trying to get his balance.
Harlow was dying with laughter. She hid behind the couch watching Ryan look confused on what just happened. I stood up "what the hell just happened?".
"Harlow is pranking me!" He said. Hearing giggling from where she hid. "Harlow come here" I said. She slowly removed herself from where she was and came over to me "yes daddy?!".
"What did you just do?" I asked.
"Oh I was playing with Ryan" she said.
"Was Ryan aware of this? He seems a little surprised as me" I said. Before she answered Ryan came with the leaf blower "this stays outside". Glancing at the leaf blower I turned back at Harlow who was smiling "why was this in his room?".
"I don't know. Maybe Ryan is into leaf blowers. I don't judge" she said.
"Right? This is what that big boom was. She blew this in my face as I was napping then dropped it and ran!" He said.
"Interesting... but do you have any proof?" She asked.
"Harlow we both saw you running out of his room" I said.
"That's not proof. That's accusations" she said.
"How do you even know what that word means?" Ryan asked.
"I watch crime shows, Duh!" She said.
"Look! Just stop with the pranking before someone gets hurt. No more. Understand?" I said. Harlow sucked her teeth "no fun!".
Shaking my head I walked away from them to only hear Harlow whine. Looking back I saw Ryan chasing after her. I have a feeling this won't end. The next day... the next day Harlow and I were in the back just enjoying the warm weather. Kai and Salem were with Gia shopping. The twins were sleeping so we came out here.
"Daddy look" Harlow held up her picture she painted.
"That's pretty!" I smiled. She smiled big and got up to rinse off her hands with the hose. Closing my eyes for a split second I heard Harlow scream. She was soaking wet from head to toe. I got up "what happened to you?!". She screamed looking up at the roof. Ryan laughed and ran off. I sighed "this is getting ridiculous! Didn't I say no more of this prank shit?!".
"Daddy I'm all wet!" Harlow screamed.
"Go inside and change and be quiet. Don't need your brother or sister waking up!" I said. She stomped right into the house. I went to go find Ryan. Just as I was walking to his room he bumped into me. "Ryan are you crazy?!".
"Me? Crazy? Nope! Just had to teach her a lesson" he said.
"That's it! No more!" I warned. He put his hands up and nodded "you're right dad". Shaking my head.... these kids are too much. The house was quiet. Grabbing my laptop and figured why not get some work done. Typing away at answering some emails. About ten minutes later I heard a loud smack. Then hearing feet run across the floor along with Harlow's laugh.
At this point I'm starting not to care. Ryan ran pass me with shaving cream covering his face. "Harlow come here!" He yelled.
"Dad she won't stop! I was taking a nap and she did this!" He said.
Looking at where she ran off to. I got up and walked to the back to see her still laughing sitting on the plant stool.

"Where are you learning all of this from!" I asked.
"YouTube! And it's fun" she said.
"Was mermaid part of it too?" I asked.
She nodded "yup".
"Alrighty then" I walked right back into the house. I'm done trying to stop this when it's clear it won't stop. Hopefully by the time gia comes home it'll settle down.
When Gia came back with both Kai and Salem. She brought dinner home as well. We were all around the table but Ryan. That wasn't a weird occurrence. He came seconds later "hey Harlow catch!". All I saw was a big water ballon that Harlow didn't realize til last minute. The balloon cake right at her she broke wetting her whole front and the floor. Ryan laughed "cant believe you actually fell for that!".
Gia stood up "I cant believe you did that Ryan! You know better. You better get something to clean this water up".
"Yeah Harlow! You heard mom" he said.
"Ryan don't play with me! Go get a mop to clean this up! Now!" Gia said. He sucked his teeth but went to go get the mop. "Have these kids lost their minds?".
"All day!" I said.
"Wetting up the floor like that. Not in this house" she said. Great! Now they got Gia going. "Harlow go change before you get sick!". She got up and waddled to her room. Gia eyed me before setting the food out the bag.
