DELANO POV

"Dad maybe you should invite mom over with Salem and Harlow for dinner. I mean we have all this pasta and it's just us! Salem would love some of this" Ryan said.

"True, but I don't think she'll come" I said.

"You never know until you call her" he said. Looking at Ryan he was smiling at me. "You think you're slick".

"Me? Never! I just hate to see food go to waste. There's starving kids in Africa who would love this food and so would Salem" he said.

Shaking my head "call her then". Ryan skipped to call his mother. I put the big dish of pasta in the center of the table. He came back with his eyebrows inward. "So.

"She has a date with that idiot Levi" he said.

"Well she's not coming then. But the good news is Salem and Harlow will be" I smiled.

"Dad I can't see how you don't care mom is going on a date with another man that's not you" he said.

"Because I don't. If your mom wants to date the whole Arizona.. let her. Who am I to stop her?" I said.

"Oh I don't know her husband. Aren't you two still married? So wouldn't that be like she's cheating on you in a way?" Ryan kept going on.

"Ryan let it go. You can't tell your mother whom she can date" I said.

"Duh, I know that! But you can! I've seen you tell her she couldn't do a lot of things and she would listen sometimes. So this is a perfect case for that" he said.

"Ryan go get your sisters and bring them here. And when you go over there. Keep your mouth shut. Let your mother live" I said.

He rolled his eyes and left to go get Salem and Harlow.

GIA POV

"Mommy are we going to daddy's house?" Salem asked.

"Yup you and Harlow are going there. And I heard he made your favorite for dinner" Salem's eyes lit up.

"So what are we waiting for?!" She ran to the door "Wait your brother is coming to get you!". She stopped "Kai?".

"No, Ryan" she sucked her teeth. I got Harlow's bag together since I was ready. A knock at the door I already knew who it was and it wasn't Ryan. Usually he just walks in here. Opening the door Levi stood there with a huge grin on his face "You look amazing".

"Thank you" I blushed. He turned to Salem "hello miss Salem". She mean mugged him "I want to go to daddy's house now!". Levi shrugged.

"Just give me a minute... their brother is coming to pick them up" I said. Levi nodded "no problem. Ryan came through the door with the sourest look on his face "I'm here for Salem and Harlow".

"Hey Ryan" Levi said.

Ryan glanced at him and back at me "I'm here for Salem and Harlow".

"Oh snap I forgot Harlow's toy let me go get it" I went to the back.

RYAN POV

When I walked into my mothers house I already saw Levi there looking like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Something about him was sending my radar off. Like the sirens were ringing like crazy. "Hey Ryan" He said.

I glanced at him and back at my mom "I'm here for Salem and Harlow". My mom forgot one of Harlow's toys in her room. As she went to go get it I turned to Levi who was sitting there checking his watch. "In a rush?".

"Excuse me?" He asked.

"I said are you in a rush?" He made me repeat myself.

"Oh not at all" he smiled.

"I don't like you. My mom may not see it but I do" I said. He looked confused "okay?".

"And don't think whatever is going on will last. My dad is not in his right self but when he does come back to the controlling dad I know... the party's over buddy" I said.

"Is that a threat?" He asked.

"More like a promise!" I said.

We had a stare down for a couple of minutes. I wanted him to know he doesn't scare me. He's a wolf who's ready to pounce and he's not pouncing on my mom... hearing her foot steps coming back to us. I looked at her... "dad is waiting?".

"I know... relax! Here take this bag and be careful with your two sisters. I know it's only three houses down but a lot can happen" she said.

"Same thing here a lot can happen. I would be careful around Levi is it.." my mom opened the door "Ryan... enough. And like I said be carful".

"Like I said be careful... he's not right" I said.

"Well thank you" she smiled.

When I got to dads house Salem ran inside and sat at the table "feed me!". My dad jumped "Jesus Salem you scared me!". We all laughed at him. But I couldn't get Levi out of my head. But at least he knows I'm watching him very closely.
