GIA POV
I was so done with having anymore babies. My body was telling me I was done. Asking the doctor about tying my tubes. Didn't want any accidents. He told me when the six weeks healing time was over I could come back and we discuss that process.
I've been in this hospital for about three days. Hopefully today I could go on home. The nurse came in wheeling in two bassinets. "Here's mommy!" She said.
She smiled and walked back out. Delano got up and took one while I took the other one. It's amazing how different they are from one another but they were in the womb together. Well not together but you get the point.
Ryder was darker. She has to be the darkest out of all our children. A head full of hair which explains the heartburn I experienced. Then river was as white as Kai when he was born. But Kai had a full head of hair. River for right now is bald.
Babies are cute and everything but I was done. Six is more than enough. Who would've known I would have six kids... SIX?!.
"Kai and Salem can't wait to meet these two" Delano said.
Kai and Salem were left alone that night. But Kai made sure Salem was taken care of. We never told them... well Kai knew but no one told Salem what we did. She's a little more sensitive than the rest.
"I can't wait to go home!" I whined.
"Today you'll go home. Then we can show the twins their new home" Delano smiled.
The nurse came in with a bunch of roses. She smiled" This came here for you".
Delano side eyed me "and who sent you those?".
I shrugged "I don't know". Delano got up still holding river to see who the flowers were from. He took the small card out and opened it "wow so this is what he's doing?".
"Who?" I asked.
"Your buddy Ron! He sent you these" he said. Delano crumbled up the card and threw it into the garbage "I see he didn't learn".
What could I even say?.
Delano's whole face changed. That smile faded and the mean look he's known for appeared "look Let's now let Ron ruin our happy moment".
"Too late for that" he mumbled.
I was cleared to go home. The excitement that filled me up. Finally I can bring our babies home. Now we didn't necessarily set up any cribs but we will manage.
Opening the door all the kids ran over to me "finally?!" Harlow said.
"Careful guys! Remember these are babies" I said. Kai came close with a smile "aww they're so cute!".
"Hey!" Salem said.
"What?!" He asked.
"You act like I wasn't cute" she pouted.
"Salem you were all cute when you were babies. Let Ryder and River live" I said. Harlow smirked "so I'm not the baby anymore?".
"Nope" Ryan said.
"Thank god" she said.
These kids were too much. "Delano what did you do with those flowers?".
"What flowers?" He asked.
"Those flowers Ron sent me" I said.
"Again what flowers?!" He asked.
I sighed "figures".
"Wait Ron sent mom flowers?" Ryan asked.
Delano nodded.
"Wow homeboy didn't learn" he said.
"Tell me about it" Delano chimed in.
"You two need to stop it. Just leave Ron alone" I said. No offense I just got home with two new babies. I didn't want any drama. Just peace for however time we have of that left.
That night Delano has got two bassinets for the twins until he set up the crib. Usually he's on point of having everything up and ready for the babies we have now. Exception of Harlow.
"They're sleeping!" Delano whispered.
"I have to say out of all babies... these two are the quietest" I smiled.
"For now. Who knows how they'll be later down the line. Salem was the same way until she hit three months and then that was it. She became a little terror" Delano said.
"Very true" I laughed.
"I'm happy we have them and everyone is happy" Delano said.
I nodded "me too! But did you and Ryan clean up after brad and Emmalee?".
"Of course... can't leave any evidence behind. Even though we left Ron alive" he said.
"He won't talk" I said.
"Yeah.... okay. Ron is someone I'm closely watching. I don't and never have trust him. After those flowers he sent you was straight disrespectful" he said.
"He probably did that as a congratulations on having the babies" I said.
"No he sent you roses. Those aren't flowers for a congratulations. Those are for a more intimate situation. And aren't you allergic to roses? He doesn't know that? And he's your so called friend?".
"He doesn't know cause I didn't feel the need to tell him something like that. Not that I ever expected him to send me flowers" I said.
"Well doesn't matter he crossed the line now" he said. I didn't want to continue this conversation so I kept quiet and focusing on the television screen.
