DELANO POV

Gia left her ear pods in my car. I didn't want her to go to work tomorrow without them so I made a U turn and went back to her house. Knowing she didn't lock her door yet I just let myself in. The scenery I witnessed was Levi man handling Gia against the wall. I sprung into action. Quickly pushing him off of her and holding him against the wall. Glancing at gia she looked a little in shock and shaken up.

I went crazy after seeing that. Ryan and Kai came in to help me but I had Levi handled on my own. Wailing on him over and over until I heard Gia yell enough! I stopped and saw Levi was a mess. I dropped him and he scattered out of Gias house. Walking up to her I wanted to make sure he didn't hurt her. She claims she's fine. But I know gia. She wasn't fine. I didn't want to leave her alone but she insisted she was okay.

The next night I was home trying to catch up on some work and business deals. Hearing my front door open and close. I got up and walked out to see who is was. Gia stood there with the two girls and a bag. "Hey".

"Hey umm I can't be alone so if you don't mind" I said.

"Yeah, no problem. Let me help you with Harlow" I took Harlow from Gia's arm and put her in her crib. Salem was yawning so I knew she was tired. She followed me into her room. I tucked her in tightly and kissed her forehead. Closing their door slightly.

Gia was sitting on the couch. "You okay?". She shook her head "what happened last night was scary! Especially when I have two babies sleeping in the house".

"Yeah I know... if I didn't get there... I don't even want to imagine what could've happened to you" I said.

"I'll sleep here like the last time" she said. Looking at the back rooms I didn't want her sleeping on the couch. "You could always take my room and I'll sleep out here".

"No I don't want to put you out of your comfort zone. Don't worry I'll sleep out here" she said.

"Fine" I said. We sat there with nothing said. "You know thinking about it now. I should've saw the signs Levi wasn't right. Especially when he would blow up my phone. Or pop up at my house or job. I'm so stupid!".

"Stop! You're not stupid. So what you missed the signs. Doesn't make you stupid" I said. She titled her head "it does". We shared a laugh. "What's your favorite music to listen to when your upset?".

"I have a mix. Give me Christina Aguilera stripped album, Adele's twenty one album and jhene aiko's trip album and I'll be set to sing my heart out" she said.

"Wow talk about a mix. You went from angry to depressed to mediation" I joked.

"How about you?" She asked.

"I'm more of a oldies. Give me anything of the Beatles and then we can talk" I said.

"Wow you show your age, huh?" She joked. I playfully pushed her with my shoulder "don't knock the oldies they taught the artist you like something".

"You know I have to say you're cute when your nice. When you were old Delano you was annoying and made my blood boil. But the new you... you're just cute" she said.

"So you think I'm cute?" I playfully asked.

"You know what I mean! But yes!" She laughed.

"Well I think you are beautiful and always have been" I said.

"Let's relax I'm not that beautiful. I'm just basic" she said.

"Basic in what way? Cause to me you are perfectly beautiful" she turned to me raising her brow "are you okay?".

I nodded "why would I be?".

"No reason" she said. We sat there again with nothing said. It was quiet. She turned to me and I turned to her. We stared at each other for a moment. Feeling myself leaning closer...it's like the universe was trying to intervene again. As we were about to kiss Salem came the room whining. We both jumped up and looked at her "my tummy hurts!". Gia got up to tend to her while I sat there and tried to think of what almost happened here. Once she got Salem down feeling much better. "So I'm going to bed. If you need anything just come back to get me". She nodded "Delano thank you!".

"Anytime" I said. Within the middle of the night I heard my room door open and close. I turned to see gia getting into my bed "what are you doing?".

"I thought I heard a noise" she whispered.

"It was just the wind outside" I whispered back.

"Well if it's not I'm not trying to find out. Look I won't touch you. Just please let me sleep in here tonight" she pleaded. I sighed "fine". The next morning I woke up to me snuggling up next to gia. I pulled myself back and sat up. When did that happen?. Walking out of my room I bumped into Ryan "morning dad!". Gia walked out after me an Ryan's face lit up. "Morning mom". "Morning Ryan". Ryan looked at me nodding "you go ahead dad!".

"Nothing happened so don't get your hopes up" I said.

"Doesn't matter mom and you slept in the same bed" he said.

"Ryan go brush your teeth" I said. He nodded and kept smiling.
