It's crazy how I had one route I wanted to go with this book... then boom my brain goes left. Smh!.

DELANO POV

I had Salem and Harlow home today. Gia was home as well but she was resting. Salem's school usually had days off when the boys didn't. I guess that's private school.

"Daddy can we go to that trampoline place later?" Salem asked.

"Nice try you're still on punishment. You need to go eat your breakfast. It's on the table. Where's Harlow?" I asked.

She shrugged "I don't know".

How doesn't she know when she shares a room with Harlow. Not for nothing but she hasn't spoken to me in weeks. She doesn't even look at me. I'm trying to let her get over this phase she's going through but it's taking way too long.

Walking to their room I saw Harlow laying in her bed. "Hey! Breakfast is on the table". She blinked at me but turned herself to the other side of the bed. This is what I'm talking about. "Are you not hungry?" I asked. This time she put her covers over her head.

Looking at Salem who was at the table eating. Gia came out and looked at me "what?".

"Harlow is ignoring me once again. I can't with her!" I said. Gia raised her brow "Harlow are you hungry?!".

"Yes mommy!" She said.

"Daddy made you breakfast" Gia said.

"I don't want what he made. I want something from you" she said. Gia glanced at me "I see she's still mad at you".

"About what! Didn't we settle the issue before. I tried to explain to her the best I could. She seemed okay after that" I said.

"I don't get it. Harlow I'm going to make you some eggs okay" Gia said.

"Thank you mommy! You're the best!" She smiled. Glancing at Gia and back at Harlow. I was so confused. Salem came running over to me "Daddy I'm done". Harlow put the covers over her head again.

Gia went to the kitchen to make Harlow her eggs. I stood there rubbing my chin "now what?".

She shrugged "she's talking to me. I would tell you to maybe go talk to her but you messed that up the last time".

Harlow came out the room and went to the bathroom. Then she came out to the kitchen and sat down with one of her mermaid dolls. But it wasn't the one I got her. Actually I haven't seen that doll at all.

She saw the breakfast I had for her on the table and pushed the plate to the other side of the table. Her eyes were focused on Gia only. Once Gia was done making her food when put the plate in front of her.

"Is this a mermaid plate?" She asked.

"Oh yeah! I got it for you yesterday" Gia smiled.

"Cool!" She smiled. But she started digging into her eggs.

"Harlow Salem and I are going to the trampoline place. You want to come along?" I asked. She shook her head without looking at me. "No?".

She shook her head again.

"Can't say I didn't ask" I said. Removing myself to where Salem was. She handed me a book to read to her. I was trying to focus on what I was saying but I kept glancing at Harlow. She sat there eating and didn't look over here at all. When she was done she put her plate in the sink and walked off.

GIA POV

"Mommy?" Harlow called out. She came walking into my room. "What are you doing?".

"Just trying to rest. Your brother and sister are just draining me today" I said. Harlow put her hand on my stomach and giggled "someone just kicked my hand!".

"Yup and I have no idea who did that" I laughed.

"It feels weird" she said.

"How come you don't want to go with daddy and Salem?!. Thought you loved the trampoline place" I said.

She shrugged "I don't want to go".

"You don't want to go outside? You rather be trapped in here all day?" I asked.

"Doesn't bother me! Plus I get to be in here with you!" She climbed up on the bed and came close to me. Snuggling into my arm. "Mommy I love you!".

"I love you too!" Kissing her chubby cheeks. We laid there and just watch what was on the television screen. Not realizing time has flown by. We didn't even hear Delano and Salem leave. But Ryan and Kai were home. They came to my room and saw Harlow in my bed "she was serious when she said she wasn't talking to dad or Salem" Ryan said.

"Yeah she acts like they don't exist" Kai said.

"I've noticed. If I talk to her it won't help. Dad needs to really sit her down and really talk to her. But he's acting a little slow with this one. I don't know why he's acting like he doesn't know how to talk to Harlow" by the way she was napping so we could discuss what was going on.

"Maybe she's right. Dad and Salem are closer. If it was Salem who wasn't talking to dad he would've nipped that in the butt the first day. But he also needs to take care of this before Harlow grows up looking to fill in that void of a father's love. We all know how that ends up. Sixteen and pregnant" Ryan said.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"I watch television!" He said.

Kai laughed "what do you watch?".

We all shared a laugh at Ryan. But they were right. Delano has to put his big boy pants on and handle this before it gets out of hand. Then we can't fix it.
