Since the issue with the dog Salem and I were home alone. The dog as you see made it through. We punished Harlow for what she did. Especially when it didn't bother her. Gia took her to run errands. And we all know Harlow hates errands.
"Daddy your not watching the movie" she said.
"I am. I can still hear it" she shook her head and went back to the movie. "Daddy How come Harlow hates me?".
"She doesn't hate you. She loves you the same way you love Ryan. Just in her own special odd way" I said.
"That doesn't make sense" she said.
"Aren't you happy you don't have school today?" I asked.
She nodded "I like private school". I bet you do. The dog eventually fell asleep on me. Salem really loved this dog. It's like her best friend next to Kai. Wait? She hasn't been bothering Kai as much since Kennedy came into the picture.

GIA POV
"Mommy can we go home now?" Harlow asked.
"Nope and what did I tell you about complaining?" I asked.
Harlow sucked her teeth "I get blamed because that dog ate one of my shoes. That's not fair"
"It's not fair that after I told you to not give the dog cake you do it anyway" I said. We walked out the store and bumped right into someone. "There's two doors and you walk right into us" Harlow said.
"I'm sorry. Gia?" The person said.
Looking up I saw the one person I thought I would never see. He smiled at me "wow small world". Harlow looked at me and back at him. He was coming to shake my hand but Harlow blocked him like a goalie. "Oh well... nice to see you. Where's Delano?".
That day was coming back to me... when he came onto me. "Gia?".
"Umm... sorry we have to go" pulling Harlow along with me. "Who was that?".
"Dad's old friend from Arizona" I said. Just wanting to get out of there fast. Opening the door so Harlow could get in and strap herself in. "Gia! Wait hold up" he yelled.
Harlow rolled her eyes "he can't get a clue".
"You dropped this" he handed me a bag that I did drop. "Thanks". He smiled "look I wanted to apologize for being a dick back in Arizona. It wasn't right of me to do what I tried to do". Getting inside my car I didn't say anything. But I did speed the hell out of there.
"Finally! Can we get lunch?" Harlow said.

DELANO POV
Salem took a nap. Thank god the movie made her tired. Gia came running inside dropping her bags. Harlow followed her inside "mommy saw a friend of yours".
"What friend? I don't have friends here" I said.
Harlow shrugged "someone from Arizona".
"Gia? What is she talking about?" I asked.
"Harlow go to your room so we can talk" Gia said.
"Gladly" she ran instead of walking. Gia sighed "I saw brad at the store".
"Brad as in brad from Arizona? The racist piece of shit brad?" I asked.
She nodded "yup that's him. And he apologized for what he tried to do. Years later... sorry my ass".
"What? Fourteen years later and now he's sorry? And why is he here anyway?" I asked.
"No idea! But when I saw him I went through PTSD. He still looks the same!" She said. I haven't seen brad since he tried to come onto Gia. He never apologized and tried to justify why he did it. That ended the friendship we had. Wonder why he's here on the east coast.
"He was asking about you" She said.
"I bet he was" I said.
Brad and I were friends from birth. Our mothers were friends from high school. So once we came it was Destined for us to be friends. And never mind our birthdays were days apart. So we had parties together.
But I was on a different path than he was. I straightened up myself after high school. He didn't. When I bought that beach property he wasn't to fond of the idea. But that didn't stop him from asking me for a job or throwing parties.
Then the thing with Gia happened and he wasn't surprised. But when we stopped hanging out cause I was focused on Gia and Ryan. That made him a bit jealous. Actually once Gia came along most of my friends disappeared from me. Then again that was my fault for being so into Gia and not into my friends.
"Don't worry about him. He can't harm you" I said.
"Are you sure about that?" She asked.
"Trust me on that" I said.
She looked a little nervous. "No offense but he did what he did before. What makes you think he won't try to succeed again?".
"Cause I won't allow it... and neither will our children" I said.
She didn't say anything else. Hearing her footsteps going to our bedroom.
