And it begins...

GIA POV

I wanted to get some things to cook dinner with tonight. Last thing any of us wanted was Delano's pasta. I couldn't do it. Parking in the grocery lot I walked inside. Harlow was with me as well.

"Ooo mommy can we get some cookies?!" She asked.

"Umm I don't know. Last time I said yes you ate the whole box in one sitting!" I said.

"That wasn't me. That was bunny who ate it" she said.

"Always blaming the damn bunny" I joked. She smiled and went to get the box of cookies. Harlow and I usually did errands in the mornings. Until she's able to start school. Even then I'll have the twins with me. Actually I'm not even sure how it feels to go out alone. I always had a baby or child with me.

When we were done Harlow helped me load up the car with what I bought. She got in and strapped herself in her seat. Taking some breath when I finally sat down. Having one baby under your lung is bad enough.. but two? They are trying to take the air out of me. "Mommy you okay?".

"I'm fine just trying to breathe" I said.

"Oh ok" she said.

After five minutes I started up the car and proceeded to drive.  The radio was on blaring music throughout the car. "Mommy why is this car so close to you?".

Glancing at my rear view mirror I noticed this car tailgating me. I sped up and it did the same. "I don't know!". Switching lanes trying to move away from this idiot. But of course they followed. Now I was getting upset.

Speeding up cautiously as I made sure Harlow was okay in the back seat.  "Mommy why is this car following you?!".

"I have no idea. But hold on okay. Mommy is going to try and lose whomever it is" I said. Harlow put both hands on the edges of her car seat. If it's one thing I'm a good driver. Putting pedal to the metal since I was sixteen.

Even though I switched four lanes and took two exits this car was hot on my ass. I was about to pullover at the police station but the car bumped the back of my car pushing me pass the precinct. "Mommy! I'm scared!" Harlow screamed.

"I know!" I said. Trying to press the gas so the car could speed up again. But we weren't moving. Hitting the steering wheel... "Come on start".

My car door opened and all I remember was the frightened look on Harlow's face. Seeing her fighting her way from someone holding her. I felt like I was screaming but I didn't hear myself.

DELANO POV

"Dad where's mom?" Salem asked.

"I think she went to do errands with Harlow. They'll be back soon" I said.

"Okay I'm getting hungry" she said.

"Well if mom isn't back. I'll start dinner" I said.

She rolled her eyes "no thanks".

"What do you mean no thanks? You love daddy's pasta!" I said.

"Umm I was younger then. Now I'm older and I don't like it so much" she said. Rude. About two hours went by and Gia nor Harlow was home. Hmm... weird. Calling Gia her phone went to voicemail which meant it was off. Her phone is never off. Maybe she didn't charge her phone. Possible.

"Dad im hungry!" Kai said.

"I know! I'm waiting for mom" I said.

"She's not back yet?!" He asked.

"Nope" I said. He sighed and went back to his room. Another hour went by and now I'm starting to panic a little. Gia is usually home by seven if she's out. She doesn't stay out late when she has Harlow with her.

"Dad?' Where's Mom?" Ryan asked.

"I don't know" I said.

"Umm what?" He asked.

"Something is wrong" I said.

"What do you mean?" Ryan frantically asked.

"Look calm down. Don't need you worrying. Let me see what's going on" I said. Ryan clearly wasn't listening to anything I was saying. "Can we go look for her?!" He asked.

I nodded "go tell Kai to watch Salem while we go look for mom". Ryan ran to their room and came out "let's go".

We drove to every place Gia frequents on a daily basis and she wasn't there. My heart was starting to race now. I may be controlling at times but I always knew where Gia was. And now her cell is off I can't trace her location. Unbelievable!.

"Where are you gia?!" I whispered to myself.

Ryan was looking at every car and place as I slowly drove by. He looked so worried. I hated the fact the kids had to go through this.
