I was going to wait... but here it is...

GIA POV

Sitting on the bed I couldn't believe I was holding his letter. This can't be good. I was warned if I received this letter he was longer alive. My hands were trembling but I started to read the letter.

Dearest Gia,

If you are reading this letter that means I passed away. I just wanted to write this to thank you. You are the sweetest, caring and just amazing person I've ever known. You opened up to me and showed me there was more to life than hiding. I opened up to you about my sickness and you just gave me the most positive out look. I wanted to say sorry for kissing you that night. It was wrong. You were still with Delano. Making sure I didn't cross that boundary until you were officially single. But as fate would have it we would cross path again. This time we were allowed to unite as one. That year was a wonderful year. The best year of my life. Being with you made me forget how sick I was. You didn't believe me when I said if I wasn't sick I would've married you. You are an amazing person Gia don't ever forget that. Because I don't have much family. I put you down as my beneficiary of my life insurance. There will be a check enclosed in this letter. I'll always be with you. Don't cry! Just remember be the way I was.

With love,
K.

Not realizing tears were dripping down my face. He's succumb to his sickness. All the memories we had were flooding back.

I met K back at a party my brother had. Well he wasn't at the same party but he was in the same venue at another party. We met at the bar area. Now I'm not a talkative person. He approached me.

[flashback]...

"Could I get a water, please?" I asked

"Could I get a water, please?" I asked. The bartender nodded and went to get a glass.

"Man now I hate parties!" A voice said. I didn't look cause I wasn't up for conversation.

"Here you go!" The bartender handed me the glass. I smiled grabbing it. "You came here for water?".

Turning to the man "yes I'm thirsty". He stopped and stared at me "so you drink water?".

"Well I am pregnant so alcohol wouldn't be the best thing to drink" I said.
