GIA POV

Finally arriving to the house. The travel here felt like hours on hours. Then with four kids added to that made it worse. Delano stopped the car and Ron stepped out the moving truck. Hearing a sigh I turned to Delano "what?".

"Nothing, I don't see why he even offered to help us" he said.

"Ron is a good guy. And he's a good friend to me" I said.

"If there's one thing I know... men and women can't be friends" he said. Now I could've been the old Gia and rub that comment in his face... but I wasn't that petty today. "Well Ron and I beat that stereotype" I said.

"Right, I still think Ron has a crush on you but he's not saying nothing" he said. Rolling my eyes I got out the truck. The kids came out following me. Delano unstrapped both Harlow and Salem. "Thank Ron for your help" I smiled.

We hugged each other but then I heard someone clear there throat. "I see Delano still has some old characteristics still floating around".

"Don't mind him" I said.

"Hey Delano!" Ron said. Delano just stared at him and went into the house. "Anyway do you want something to drink?" I asked. Ron shook his head "Nah I'm good. Especially with Delano's attitude". A small silence grew between us "Look I wanted to apologize about Levi. I honestly didn't know he treated women like that".

"Don't worry about it. It's water under the bridge now" I said.

"Gia you are a special person" he smiled.

"More like basic person" I joked.

"Nope, a special one" he said. Ryan came next to me "dad wanted me to come get you".

"Hey Ryan!" Ron said.

Ryan gave him the fakest smile possible "what's up?... mom... inside... please". Delano would send the right one outside. Ron picked up on the energy "well I'm happy to help! But I need to start my journey back. Everything that on here is inside".

"Thanks again" we hugged each other. Ryan cleared his throat. Pulling away from Ron I turned to Ryan who was just staring at him. He got into the truck and drove off. Delano came to the door "Ryan I sent you to get mom... shouldn't take you this long".

"The old dad is slowly coming back" Ryan whispered to me.

Walking inside the house and it was beautiful. Very modern but still had its history. "So before I get all excited I just want to clarify something... are you two together?" Ryan asked.

"Ryan we answered this already. No! But when we are you'll be the first to know" I said.

"Are you sure? But you two are living together. But you aren't together... makes no sense" he said.

"In due time, in due time" Delano said.

Meanwhile... it was awfully quiet. Usually you would hear footsteps going back and forth. Along with screams. But it was quiet. Maybe the younger two were tired from the travel. "Where's Harlow?".

"She's sleeping on the couch" Delano said. Walking over to the same couch to check up on her. But she was cuddled and comfortable.

(Yes! She's big here but we going to pretend)

(Yes! She's big here but we going to pretend)...

Now only if Salem could follow in her sisters footsteps. That'll be nice. "It's cold here" Kai said.

"Well we aren't in Arizona anymore. The weather here will blow your mind" I said.

"That's right we get to experience snow!" He smiled. Salem came out running "did someone say snow?". We both looked at her "no it's not snowing". She pouted "oh man! I wanted to see if I could see Elsa!".

Kai shook his head "she's lost it".

Delano walked in from bringing in our luggage inside "That's it! We are officially moved in" he smiled. This will be a new experience for all of us. Hoping it's a positive one. Later on, that night all the kids were settled in their rooms. Salem and Harlow still shared a room.

"So how are you taking the move?" Delano turned to me.

I shrugged "it's something to get used to".

"I'm happy you chose to move here with me" he said.

"Thinking about it... it was the best thing for our children" I said.

"And for us to work on our relationship..." I didn't respond because that's not the reason I came here. Yes, we may hook up here and there but I wasn't ready to commit yet. I still needed time. "Delano... look I get that you want to try again. But I'm not ready. I'm still healing and so are you. Let's fix ourselves before we jump into being together".

"Fair enough. I'll wait. As along as you are here with me that's all I need" he smiled. When I went to move the covers over my leg caught a mean cramp. Putting my face into the pillow so I could scream. Lord, that cramp was painful. Delano massaged the cramp so it would go away quicker.

"You okay?" He asked.

"No joke, that's the third time I caught a leg cramp this week" I said.

"You're lacking something. Next time that happens eat a banana" he said.

"Yeah I'll just have a banana in the night stand" I joked. He smiled "it'll help". Damn leg cramps... my calf was still a little sore from the last one I got earlier. Maybe if I start doing stretches in the morning it won't happen.
