DELANO POV
Arriving at the kids school. I walked into the building not sure where I should go. Following all the kids artwork I seen Salem sitting in class playing with toys. She jumped up "Daddy!". I smiled as she ran to me. A tall male stopped her "Excuse me? And you are?".
"I'm her father" I said.
"Who Salem?" He asked.
"Obviously she said daddy while coming towards me" I said. He glanced at me and back at Salem. "That's my daddy!" She said. He let her go... she hugged me so I picked her up. "How was school?".
"Good, look what we made" she pointed to her picture.
"Wow! You did this? So pretty" I said.
The same male was just staring at us. "Can I help you?".
"No. Just wasn't expecting someone like yourself to be her father" he said. That comment caused me to smile. "Leave my daddy alone!" Salem said.
"He's not bothering me. Come on let's go" I said. Letting her down so she could run in the class and get her things. Which left her teacher and I. Silence filled the little air between us. "I wouldn't have known her mother was into slave master ownery".
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"You heard me" he said.
"Wow! And they have someone like yourself teaching children?" I asked.
"Just saying like it is. It's men like you who keep taking our queens away from us" he said. What he was saying sounded ridiculous "you sure it's me? And not that ignorant attitude you have?".
Salem came running out. The teacher cleared his throat "bye Salem! See you tomorrow!".
"No you won't. As of today I'll be making a call to switch her classroom. Don't want your ignorant attitude passing on to my daughter" the teacher looked taken back. "Daddy I won't see him anymore?" She asked.
"No you won't. He was a mean man. You don't need someone like that around you" I said.
"He was mean to you, right?" She asked.
"Not mean but rude" I said. She didn't say anything else. She continued to eat her snack I brought for her. When we reached home I helped her out her car seat. She jetted inside and I followed behind.
Gia and Harlow were back. "How did the appointment go?".
"It was good. We have a healthy growing little girl" she said.
"Good, by the way that teacher was something else. I'm making a call later to switch Salem out of that room. He's too ignorant to be teaching anyone" I said.
"Told you. What did he say?!" She asked.
"When he found out I was Salem's dad. He was shocked but then started with the racist remarks. I'm not racist by any means. But this dude he was taking it there. So because he decided to say what he wanted I'll be calling a complaint about him as well".
"I knew he was weird. Even Harlow wasnt feeling him" she said.
"It doesn't matter where we go. There's always someone there to annoy us" I said. She patted my shoulder "it's okay". Turning to her I smiled her face just made everything better. "What?".
"Just admiring your beauty. Always have and will" I smiled. She covered her face "you're making me blush". All this talking was making me all hot. Pulling her on top of me "you know we haven't christened the new house yet".
"I know, but we have children... four to be exact" she said.
"Yeah, But they are all occupied. We can have a quickie" I suggested.
"I don't know about that" she said.
"Oh come on!" Trickling my fingers up get thigh. She stared at me dating me to go further. I didn't need her to even tell me anything. Hovering over her I placed small kisses along her neck. Gia was that spell that always had a hold on me.
"Ewww!" Salem yelled covering her eyes.
Putting my head down and laughing. "See I told you" Gia whispered. "Mommy? Daddy? Why?" She asked.
"Salem can you give us a minute, please?" Gia asked. Hearing a thud we looked and saw Salem at the wall with her eyes covered "ouch!".
"Salem you need to take your hands off of your eyes in order to see where you are going" I said. She giggled and did just that "oh yeah! I was thirsty but then I saw you guys".
"If you are thirsty go get something to drink, hurry" Gia said. Her little legs went as fast as it would take her. Hearing the fridge close and footsteps. "Okay you guys can go on" she said.
"Well thank you for your approval" I joked.
"Welcome!" She yelled running off to her room. With what just happened it killed the mood. But we shared a laugh at what just happened. "She's too cute" Gia said.
"Definitely... we make some cute kids. Adorable" I said. Feeling her nod along. "Want more?" I asked. She pushed me off of her "Are you insane? Four isn't enough for you?".
"I don't have a limit to how many kids I want. However much god will allow us to have then I'm down for it" I said.
"You and god ain't pushing any of these kids out" she said.
"Harlow will eventually get lonely. She needs a playmate" I said.
"And Salem isn't her playmate?" She asked
"She is But as Salem gets older she won't want to be bothered with Harlow" I said.
"We'll see about that. Get Harlow a dog or a cat" she said. She got up leaving me there. I mean maybe I'm the only one having baby fever. We'll see...
