"Well we established that you felt the need to fulfill the void your mother left you with Gia. Now how did you feel about the pregnancy?" He asked.

I shrugged "I wasn't mad. Actually I didn't have an exact emotion. I was numb".

"When did your need for control with your wife come out?" He asked.

"Well when she thought she could be slick and try to get an abortion that I told her not to get. And also going out the country without my knowledge or consent. When she went to Mexico that hit a soft spot. I snapped. Took her things and technically forced her to move in with me. Couldn't keep tabs on her while we lived apart so instead I moved her in".

"And she wasn't happy about it?" He asked.

"Hell no! That move sent her into a panic attack" I said.

So the control started when she went to Mexico without telling you... can I ask why you kept the control with your wife?" He asked.

"If she went to Mexico without me knowing what else is capable of doing. Couldn't have her leaving me. So I made rules on where she could go or do. And I put a GPS tracker on her phone".

"Wow! You went full blown, huh?" He joked.

"But she rebelled. She took our son all over the country and I had no idea about it. That sent me over the damn edge. She was on lockdown after that. Yes I said lockdown" I said.

"Delano your need for control seemed to get worse and worse as the years went by" he said.

"When you have a wife who's highly impulsive..." I smiled.

"You say your wife left you numerous times. Can you tell me what was the occurrence to each time?" He asked.

"Hmm... the first time was when I cheated on her with an old girlfriend. She left before our son was born. Then the second time... we just weren't seeing eye to eye. She was also pregnant at the time. The third time... I cheated".

"I'm confused. You have this need for control but you cheat. That doesn't make sense. Help me understand" he said.

"Well the first time my mom who didn't like my wife set up that plan for me to cheat. But alcohol was involved and one thing led to another. The second time it was with her sister/best friend. She left me for a good while and hid our daughter away from me".

"Why do you cheat?" He asked.

I shrugged "I don't know. I like feeling wanted. Now don't get me wrong my wife does a great deal of that. It may take her a while to show it. But I'm patient with her".

"You cheat cause you want to feel wanted? Hmm... never heard that one before" he said.

"I love my wife with everything. But I'm just a mess. She didn't know about my past until recently" I said.

"I'm just going to throw this out there. You have abandonment issues. Did you think maybe your wife would leave at some point? Maybe that's why you cheated to push her away so you wouldn't get hurt?".

"Maybe... I honestly don't know. Or maybe it's hidden somewhere" I said.

"But do you realize she's not going anywhere.. you two moved to a new state. Kids and all. You must know she's staying, right?". Now let's not jinx it. "How can you be so sure about that?" I asked.

"Because if she was going to leave you she wouldn't followed you here to live" he said. True. He has a point. "I won't dabble into fatherhood only because you seem like a very good father".

"Thanks" I smiled.

"Let's get into the tough conversation. What did you see in her sister that you didn't see in your wife?".

I sighed "I can't answer this question. To be honest Bria couldn't compare to gia. It was just sex. We were great as sexual partners but that's it. Nothing more. Nothing less".

"You know I always say this.. it may be sex but you got her pregnant. Now it's not just sex. There's something there" he said.

"Oh that was a mistake. The sex was too good. But I made her get rid of it" I said.

"Interesting how you made sure your wife didn't abort your first child but you made her sister abort hers. Why?" He asked.

"Easy... I didn't see Bria as a good mother. Something about her didn't seem mother material. Unlike Gia she had a kind way about her even though she tried to act tough. Even as a mother Gia is amazing. I knew our children would grow up differently than how were raised".

"How does one make a person get an abortion? Just curious" he asked.

"Money talks" I said. Even though Bria had enough money but she took it anyway.
