RYAN POV
No offense but my parents are taking their sweet time getting back together. That day I caught them sleeping in the couch made my day. In a way this move was a very good idea. Mom never came to the other house like she does this one.
"Kai come here!" I yelled.
"What?" He asked.
"So how about I call mom telling her dad wanted to talk to her about Salem and that she needs to come over. Then when she comes over there will be a candle lit dinner waiting. Dad should show himself cause he has perfect timing".
"Are you sure it'll work out?" He asked.
"There's only one way to find out" I said. Picking up the phone I called mom. She agreed she would drop by after work. That's one down. I went to my dad and asked him if he was cooking. He said he was. Perfect.
Watching my dad cook dinner. I just waiting for him to be done. Usually when he's done he goes back to finish up some work. Of course like clockwork that's what he did. I cleaned the table and put two plates down and silverware. The table had these candles on it already. So I just lit it up. It made the table so nicely lit.
Looking at the time I saw it was close before my mom came over. Putting some of the food on the two plates. I made it look nice. Kai was my look out just Incase my dad came in the dining room. Just making sure everything was perfect. Hearing a knock on the door we raced back to our rooms.

GIA POV
I know Ryan told me that Delano wanted to talk to me about Salem. I'm knocking and no one is answering. Twisting the door knob the door was open. Delano needs to learn to lock his doors. "Hello?".
Walking around I see a table that was nicely decorated. I hope I'm not interrupting anything. "Delano?".
He came walking to where I was "What's up?".
"You wanted to talk" I said.
"I did? About what?" He asked.
"Salem... you told Ryan to ask me to come over... oh okay I see what happened here" I said. Delano looked over at the decorated table. "What in the world is going on here?".
"Very good question... I thought I was walking in on something" I said.
"Those kids of ours" he said.
"Look I'm going to get Salem and Harlow and get out of here" I said. Delano stopped me "there's no need to waste this nicely decorated table. And the food".
"Are you serious?" I asked.
He nodded "yeah come on sit down". Pulling out my chair for me. I sat down just confused on what's going on. Delano took his seat "I mean Ryan went through all this work".
"I must admit he did a good job" I said. We sat there in silence and ate. "Gia you know I always used to say I didn't really know you".
"I can say the same thing about you" which was true.
"Well I'm Delano, forty one" he said.
"I'm gia, thirty five" I smiled.
"Nice to meet you, Gia" he said. This was so weird.
"When is your birthday?" He asked.
"April third, yours?" I asked.
"August twenty eighth" he said.
"Wow summer baby! How cute" I smiled.
"Do you have any kids?" He asked.
"I have four amazing kids, you?" I asked.
"I also have four amazing kids" he said. This whole thing made me laugh. I felt like a teenager. "You like to laugh I see".
"I'm sorry this whole thing is making me laugh" I said.
"So you think I'm funny?" He asked.
"Yes, hilarious" I said.
"I'm happy I make you smile" he said. This was definitely not the Delano I knew before. He was much more laid back and funny. "Do you work?" I asked.
He nodded "I have my own company, you?".
"Yeah I work.. you know a working mom" I said.
"That sounds like a marvel superhero" he joked.
I couldn't help but laugh "there goes that smile again" he said.
"What's your middle name?" I asked.
"Fun fact... I don't have a middle name, you?" He said.
"I hate my middle name... Marie" I said.
"Gia Marie... how uncommon" he joked.
"I know shush" I said.
"What's Harlow's middle name?" He asked.
"Fun fact... she's just like you. She doesn't have a middle name" I said. He smiled "interesting. Where did you get the name from?".
"Last minute decision. I didn't have a name. The television was on in the room. And for some odd reason an old move was on and the woman's name was Jean Harlow... the rest is history".
"That'll be a story to tell her when she gets older" he smiled. I was actually enjoying myself. This was fun. Old Delano wasn't fun. But this one... my phone went off. I peaked to see it was Levi calling me. I ignored his call. "Maybe you should answer that".
"Nope, I'm busy" I smiled.
"What's your favorite color?" He asked.
"I don't really have one, you?" I asked.
"Me either..." he said. My phone rang again. There's no emergency so stop calling me. "Someone wants your attention" he sipped his drink. "Anyway... the food was very good".
"See I told you I could cook" he said.
"You had lessons... don't even play" I joked.
"You caught me" he laughed.
My phone went off again. I answered it "Hello".
"I've been calling you and you wasn't answering. What are you doing?" I looked at Delano. "I have kids to take care of. I can't be at my phone all the time".
"Oh yeah... sorry. I just wanted to talk" Levi said.
"I'll call you in like ten minutes okay?" I said.
"Yeah sure" ending the call.
"Well this was nice and fun. Thanks for listening to Ryan and coming over" he said. Playing with the back of my phone I smiled "yeah this was fun". He got up and went to clean the table. "I'm going to get Salem and Harlow and take them home". He nodded.
When I got home the girls were settled down for the night. Looking at my phone I really didn't want to call Levi back. I was tired and I needed a shower. I'll call him tomorrow.
