Matt's POV: After taking Gabby into the firehouse and towards the bunks, I smiled when we found one that we could use. Setting our stuff down on the little side table next to the bed, I turned to look at her and smiled as she got on the bed first. I then smiled as I laid down next to her and wrapped my arm around her back.
Laying down close to me against my side, I smiled as I went to kiss her forehead before whispering to her. "I swear, this ambo work is such an adrenaline rush." Gabby chuckled and nodded. "I assume that means you are liking your new job as a paramedic?" I nodded and smiled before grabbing her hand and intertwining our fingers.
"As long as we're together, that's all that matters." I smiled and was about to turn my head to kiss her when they called a meeting. "All Staff please report to meeting now." I sighed and looked at Gabby. Letting her get up first, I sighed before getting up too and grabbing her hand to go to the meeting room to get a briefing from chief.
