Aarmau: Remember Me, Remember Us, Just Remember

Chapter 13

The next morning the smell of bacon, eggs, pancakes and sausage pulls Aph from the best sleep she's had in a long time. She doesn't even think she dreamt after Aaron's visit but dreaming is the last thing she wants to do.

Her ears twitch as she hears the sound of nails racing down the stairs and across the floor toward her and Aaron urgently whispering at someone to stop and come back. Before she can open her eyes she feels something land on her bed, move up beside her and a rough tongue begins to lick her face.

Her eyes pop open and staring her in the face is Celestia but she is no longer the little puppy she remembers. She doesn't appear to be full grown yet but she's still a very big girl.

Aph softly chuckles and struggles to lift her hand to run it through the dog's soft coat, "Celestia my baby. I've missed you so much!"

Celestia wags her tail in greeting, licks her face a couple more times and then lies on top of her. The dog's eyes are glued to her face almost as if Aph will disappear the moment she looks away.

Everyone in the room turn toward the bed in horror just as Aaron skids to a stop next to her, "I'm so sorry Shu!"

Aph looks at Aaron and smiles softly before glancing around the room.  Her smile brightens, "It's alright F.C. Good morning everyone! It smells amazing!"

She's surprised that all her friends are in the room with her. Her eyes travel from Katelyn to Travis to Zane to Kawaii~Chan to Garroth to Kim to Dante to Gene to Lucinda to Laurence and then Melissa. She's actually surprised to see that Ivy, Sasha and Zenix and there as well. Tears fill her eyes and she automatically knows this is real because the Guardian Force wouldn't know to add Ivy, Sasha and Zenix to their little line-up.

Almost as if reading her mind Travis moves to the left side of her bed and smiles, "Don't worry Not-Alone-Buddy, this is all real."

Aph briefly closes her eyes breathing a sigh of relief as Gene speaks up, "So the ears and tail Aph? I always though you looked cute with them when they were just a potion mix-up but you look even better now that they're real. Guess I really can't call you Kitty anymore."
