Looking into the darkness she can see two sets of eyes looking back at her. They're both low to the ground but one set is a fiery amber much like hers and the others sparkle like the night sky.

She watches them move closer and almost as if someone turned on a spotlight above her, the area around her lights up and the sets of eyes turn into a little girl and little boy. The pair are holding hands and she already knows who they are.

Tears fill her eyes and she has no intention of fighting them. She drops to her knees and pulls the children into her arms.

She feels their little arms wrap around her and their little cheeks press against her shoulder as she breathes in their sweet child smells. When she pulls back the little girl reaches up and wipes away one of her tears.

The little boy smiles, "Don't cry, mama."

Hearing his high-pitched voice makes the tears flow even faster and she laughs as she pulls them in for another hug. When she pulls back again she smiles and turns to the little girl. "And what is your name sweetie?"

The little girl rolls her eyes and then tilts her head. Aph laughs because it's her eye roll and Aaron's questioning head tilt. "Let me guess, Alina Irene?"

The little girl nods, "It was going to be Alina Shu but you changed your mind."

Aph squints and then shrugs. She can see why she would consider Shu but it's not a normal name.

She turns to the little boy who shrugs, "Derek Terrance."

Aph nods, "In honor of the two that sacrificed everything for us. So, will we be seeing either of you soon?"

The little boy offers her a sweet smile, "It won't be too long."

The little girl frowns, "Just don't tell daddy just yet or you'll never get to leave the house. He's very protective of us. But mama, you need to watch out for Ivan."

And as fast as they came she watched them vanish before her eyes. She reaches out to touch them one more time but it's too late.

The darkness around her begins to lighten and the Cafe's bathroom reforms around her. She blinks a couple of times as the door opens and Lucinda steps into the room.

Their eyes meet in the mirror and Lucinda instantly knows something happened. Aph turns to face her and the room begins to spin.

Lucinda rushes over to steady her and helps her over to a padded bench along the wall. She waits for Aph to pull herself together. "Are you alright sweetie?"

Aph glances at Lucinda and smiles, "I don't think I've ever been better?"

Lucinda frowns at her, "Sweetie, for a second there you almost passed out on me and you look worn out. Did you hit your head at some point?"

Aph laughs and shakes her head. "I just had a vision of my future daughter and son."

Lucinda's eyes widened in shock and then looked down at Aph's stomach. "For real? What did they look like? Wait, are you pregnant?"

Tears fill Aph's eyes, "I don't know, I'm not due to start for another 3 weeks. But that might explain why I feel like crap. They were so adorable Lucinda. They both had dark hair but the girl had amber eyes like mine and the boy's looked like Aaron's."

Lucinda laughs, "Sweetie you're still recovering and sometimes it takes forever to get pregnant. That's not saying it's not possible but don't get your hopes up. If it's true though, Aaron is going to be so surprised!"

Aph shakes her head, "Alina said not to tell him at least not if I like leaving the house and I still have a wedding to plan. So you are not to tell anyone Lucinda because no one can keep a secret. And I will tell him but not unless I'm sure. Of course, if I am then I guess that makes deciding between spring and winter much easier. She also said I need to watch out for Ivan. We ran into him again today and I know he's going to be trouble."

Lucinda smiles and then rolls her eyes upon hearing Ivan's name. "Alina huh? That's a pretty name and I can keep a secret sweetie the problem is you're terrible at lying. As for Ivan, I'll take care of him."

Aph sighs, "I don't think it'll be that easy Lucinda. If he refuses to go away I'll do what needs to be done but hopefully, he'll come to his senses."

Lucinda freezes hearing the finality in her voice. "Ivan rarely comes to his senses. What will you do?"

Aph closes her eyes and shakes her head, "Take back the gift he was given."
