The two are oblivious to the front door opening and everyone but Gene, Sasha, and Zenix walking into the house. They all stop as the first sound that reaches their ears is the flat-line sound screaming from Aph's monitor.

They instinctively look to Aph's bed and are all confused that she isn't there. Zane notices movement out of the corner of his eye and turns to see Aaron and Aph sitting on the floor clinging to each other.

Melissa and Sylvana rush to them and crouch beside them. Sylvana looks Aph over trying to see if she's hurt and is about to pull her away from Aaron when Aaron leans away and then starts raining kisses all over Aph's face and they listen as she starts to laugh.

They are even more confused than they were before and Melissa carefully touches Aaron's arm, "Aaron? What's going on?"

Aph looks up and hysterically giggles as a wide goofy grin spreads across Aaron's face. He looks around the room. "Melissa used to steal my cookies when we were little, Zane challenged me to a foam sword duel at A-Con over Aph, Sylvana has hated me since the day we met because she thought I would take Aph away from her, Katelyn dumped Jeffrey in high school because he was too nice and Aph agreeing to marry me at Starlight was the happiest moment of my life."

The grin slips as he continues, "The Guardian Force was able to catch me because I didn't want to live after I watched Aph die. I killed Blaze, I watched my father sacrifice himself to save me, I watched Lady Irene sacrifice herself to save me and I didn't deserve it after what I did."

Garroth and Katelyn push through the group until he can see them. Garroth takes a deep breath, "Aaron what happened is not your fault. It's not mine, it's not Katelyn's, Travis's, and certainly not Aph's even though she believes differently. The Demon Warlock and Ein are the ones responsible. Those damn forever potions are to blame. You reacted out of grief. No one will ever blame you for what happened."

Looking around the room, he watches as everyone nods in agreement. The silence stretches for almost a minute before Sylvana clears her throat, "Aaron I'm glad you have your memories back but can you please pick my daughter up off the floor before she catches a cold?"
