Aaron glances down at Aph and frowns, "The street looks amazing but you look like you could use a nap."

Aph nods, "That took more out of me than I thought it would. I don't feel as bad as I did after Zack but I will need to rest if I'm going to have fun tonight."

A chill rolls through her as a familiar dark inky aura brushes against her and she instinctively turns toward it. She sees Lucinda do the same thing and Aaron stiffens against her.

She watches Ivan and a couple of his minions glance up and down the street studying their decorations. He eerily starts to laugh and shake his head, "I'm surprised, Lucinda. Your taste seems a bit divided this year and last year you didn't decorate at all. What gives? And little Aphmau. I'm still trying to figure you out but don't worry, I will eventually."

Aaron growls as he pushes Aph behind him, "Ivan, you're not welcome or wanted here. You need to leave."

Ivan turns to Aaron and sighs, "Like I said last time you threw one of these little shindigs, it's a community event and open to the public. You don't own the street so I can come and go as I please."

Lucinda places herself between Ivan and Aaron and pushes him away. "I told you to leave us alone Ivan."

Ivan looks at Lucinda and smiles, "I thought I felt something at the shop the other day and not just the effects of some potion. How did you get your powers back Lucinda? I could swear you were a dead cell."

Lucinda forms a fireball in one hand and pushes him again. "That's none of your concern Ivan. Now go!"

Ivan shakes his head, "Tsk, tsk Lucinda. You should never play with fire. You never know who's going to get burned. Come on boys we have things to do today but don't worry, we'll be back in time for the party."

In literally the blink of an eye Ivan opens a portal and he disappears along with his minions. Aph can still feel his aura around her and it's unpleasant.

She has a bad feeling about him and she's not as excited as she had been earlier. Something tells her this is going to be a long night.

With a deep sigh, she grabs Aaron's arm and pulls him back toward the house. They have other things they need to do today and she's definitely going to need that nap.
