When they got to the store Aph climbed out of the cart even though Aaron insisted she stay in. She argues that she will not have people staring at her as he pulls her around the store.

Aaron shakes his head as they start walking the isles, "They're really going to stare if you pass out on me."

Aph rolls her eyes at him. "I'm feeling a little better but I promise I'll tell you if that changes."

Aaron sighs, "I'm not going to hold my breath. You are one stubborn little potato."

It takes them almost an hour to find everything on Aaron's list. They're both frustrated because it's not like they're new items but that the store decided to move everything.

By the time they're done Aph is starving again and is dreading the walk home. Aaron keeps glancing at her waiting for her to admit she's tired but as usual, it never comes.

Without her noticing, Aaron makes a small detour that will take them by the Cafe'. He figures they can get her a snack and she can rest a few minutes before they walk the rest of the way home.

Halfway to the Cafe' his phone begins to ring and the sound pulls Aph out of her daydream. She glances around noticing they're not heading back the same way and frowns at Aaron.

Aaron can feel her eyes boring into the back of his head, notices it's Melissa calling him, and quickly accepts. After a quick conversation, he explains to Melissa that they made a trip to the store and are now stopping by the Cafe' for a quick snack.

When he ends the call he hears Aph sigh at him, "We could have simply gone home and had lunch there Aaron."

Aaron smiles and then laughs, "Your stomach disagrees Aph. We'll make it quick."

Aph knows he's doing it for her. If she had just stayed home he would have gotten things done much faster but she knows he won't be leaving her alone any time soon.

When they finally walk through the Cafe's front door she's beyond exhausted. She hates to admit it but she doesn't think she would have made it if they had gone straight home.

Tears burn at the back of her eyes but she refuses to actually cry. She promised herself she wouldn't cry like a baby anymore and she will not give in.

Taking a slow deep breath she heads off toward the bathroom while Aaron pulls the cart back toward the kitchen to store their things in the walk-in refrigerator. She quickly uses the restroom and as she's drying her hands she looks at her reflection in the mirror.

Her skin is paler than what she's used to seeing, her amber eyes don't sparkle as they used to and she has the hint of dark circles under her eyes. She's also noticed she's barely keeping her weight up. She knows she needs to take better care of herself but sometimes it's hard to keep up.

She shakes her head as her stomach starts to growl and she gently pats it to tell the beast to be patient. The instant her hand touches her stomach her vision blurs and then darkens. She can feel her hands grab onto the sink counter which is the only thing that tells her she's still at the Cafe'.
