Aaron looks away and nods, "I've been having flashbacks since you came back but they're not much different than looking at a picture or watching a movie. I don't really feel connected to them; they don't feel like I'm reliving something personal."

A small crease forms between her brows, "What have you seen?"

Aaron taps his chest and his eyes drop to her heart, "I saw how you got that scar and I um, I watched you die. Both scared the crap out of me. I've seen you holding a plush, me holding your hand, carrying you through the water and this time I saw you healing me."

Aph nods but is a little afraid to go into detail. If he remembers anything at all she would rather him remember the good things and forget about all the bad that's happened. But she knows remember the bad times helps them to appreciate all the good times given to them, to remember one he must remember them all.

"Alright, the memories are still there so they're not totally gone like Garroth. I'm not sure about the lack of connection but this is something we can work with. Shoot I wanted to ask Garroth if they learned anything new. The next time you have one please tell me and I might be able to tell you what was happening at that time."

Aaron nods and smiles. Their eyes connect and the air around them stills as they feel themselves being pulled toward each other again. Aph realizes she still has her hand on his chest and as she looks at her hand she closes her fingers in the fabric of his hoodie.

The excitement from earlier reignites under her skin almost as if it's simply been simmering. Her heart beats hard in her chest as she hears him take a deep breath and then lets out a low growl. You'd think hearing it would scare her but it has the exact opposite affect and she shivers. He's her Alpha.

She's always been afraid of making the first move but if she's learned anything it's that life is just too damn short. Pulling him closer she slides her other hand up over his shoulder, cups the back of his neck and closes the distance.
