His Super Soldier // Bucky Barnes

Chapter 168

Maddy laid on a medical bed.... waiting for the doctor to reveal the gender of her baby. Bucky stood on the other side of the room, looking rather nervous...

"Bucky? Are you okay?" Maddy asked.

Bucky looked down.... gazing at his wife.

"I'm fine, darling! Are you okay?" Bucky asked.

"I'm great!" Maddy smiled.

Suddenly Tony walked into the room....

"I have some good news and bad news," Tony sighed.

"What's the bad news?" Bucky asked.

"You won't be able to use any of James old clothes," Tony replied.

"Are you saying.... what I think you're saying?" Maddy asked.

"YOU'RE HAVING A GIRL!" Tony cheered.

"GEEZ! You scared me.... a little warning next time," Bucky frowned.

"Sorry big guy," Tony smiled.

Maddy looked over at Bucky.....a smile grew on both of their faces.

"I can't wait to meet our little princess," Bucky said.

Maddy sat up and hopped off the table.... walking towards Bucky, pulling him into a tight hug.

Bucky jumped away...

"I don't wanna hurt her," Bucky frowned.

Maddy laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" Bucky asked.

"You aren't gonna hurt her.... trust me," Maddy replied.

"Yeah, you definitely won't hurt the baby.... in fact you will still be able to very much continue your sexual activity," Tony smirked.

"OH MY GOD TONY!" Maddy yelled.

Tony ran out of the room..... laughing.

Maddy was cuddled up next to Bucky.... both sleeping peacefully, until Bucky jolted up. Sweat started to form across his forehead..... he quickly looked around him, realizing where he was.

Maddy sat up.

"Another nightmare?" Maddy mumbled, half asleep.

"Yes. It's the same dream," Bucky sighed.

"About that guys son?" Maddy asked.

"Yuri's son.... I feel guilty. Guilty that I can't tell him the truth," Bucky said.

"Bucky.... the time will come when you are able to tell him. However, when you do... I'll be there," Maddy replied.

"How are you so sure?" Bucky asked.

"I just do!" Maddy smiled, placing a kiss on his cheek.

Bucky pulled Maddy closer.

"Do you have to leave?" Bucky asked.

"Yes. I'm needed in Washington," Maddy sighed.

"Do you know why?" Bucky asked.

"No. Rhodey said it was important.... and I should bring the shield," Maddy said.

"That sounds a little fishy, if you ask me," Bucky frowned.

"It does! But don't worry Sam will be there," Maddy replied.

"I do worry! Because I should be there... but instead I have to stay here and do therapy," Bucky groaned.

"I'll be fine! After Washington.... Sam asked for me and James to come with him to Louisiana," Maddy said.

"What's in Louisiana?" Bucky asked.

"I'm not sure," Maddy sighed.

"I hope it's nothing dangerous," Bucky said.

"Who knows.... maybe he's taking us Gator wrestling," Maddy laughed.

"Not funny," Bucky frowned.

Maddy laid her head in Bucky's shoulder and started to make little circles on his
thigh.

"Have you heard from any of the other Avengers?" Bucky asked.

"No. It's been completely radio silent," Maddy said.

"What about Steve?" Bucky asked.

"He sent a post card from France, apparently he took mystery girl to a romantic vineyard," Maddy replied.
