His Super Soldier // Bucky Barnes

Chapter 190

Maddy sat on the couch with her head in her hands.... thinking about Karli.

"Maddy, you can't hold out hope for Karli.... No matter what you saw in her, she's gone," Zemo sighed.

Maddy looked up and glared at him.

"We cannot allow that she and her acolytes become yet another faction e so of gods among real people," Zemo continued.

"You are talking as if you are some sort of god," Maddy said.

"Super Soldiers shouldn't exist," Zemo replied.

"If that's how you really feel, what about me or Bucky?" Maddy asked.

"Blood isn't always the solution," Zemo said.

They both turned their heads.... and saw Bucky and Sam walk through the door.

"Something isn't right about Walker," Bucky frowned.

"Are you just now figuring that out?" Maddy asked.

"Well, I know a crazy when I see one. Because I am crazy," Bucky said.

"Can't argue with that," Sam laughed.

"Maddy should've fought harder to keep the shield," Bucky replied.

"We aren't doing this AGAIN! I fought just as hard for that shield just like Steve would've..... I won't stop until my last dying breath, until that shield is in my hands," Maddy frowned.

"Steve definitely didn't give away that shield.... That shield meant everything to him, probably more than you," Bucky said, quickly regretting his words.

Maddy balled her hands into fist.... growing angry.

"Just say it Bucky! You don't think a woman should be able to hold the shield," Maddy snapped.

Before Bucky could say anything.... someone busted through the door, causing them to all look in that direction.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!!!! YOU REALLY WANNA GET YOU'RE ASS BEAT," Maddy yelled.

"I'm ordering you all to turn in Zemo," John ordered.

"Last I checked you aren't in charge," Maddy said.

The tension grew thicker.... As John and Maddy stared at one another.

"Shield or no shield, the only thing running is you're mouth," Maddy replied.

John frowned.

"Now! We had Karli until you overstepped. Zemo has actually proven himself quite useful today," Maddy continued.

"As much as we want.... We are gonna need all hands on deck. How do you want the rest of this conversation to go Maddy? Huh?" John asked.

Maddy smirked.

"Should I put the shield down? Make it easier on your pregnant ass?" John asked.

Maddy took a step forward.... Until Bucky stepped in front of her.

"You better be careful what you say next!" Bucky growled.

Suddenly Wakandan warriors bust through the doors..... grabbing everyone's attention.

"Release him to us, now!" A familiar voice ordered.

Maddy looked closer and noticed it was Ayo.... She smiled, remembering how she helped Bucky.

"Hi. John Walker aka Captain America," John smiled.

Ayo and the warriors glared at John.

"Why don't we put the pointy sticks down and talk this through, huh?" John asked.

"John, take it easy! You might wanna fight Bucky before you tangle with the Dora Milaje," Sam said.

"I would actually like to see where this goes," Maddy smirked.

"The Dora Milaje doesn't have jurisdiction here....." John replied but was quickly cut off.

"The Dora Milaje have jurisdiction wherever the Dora Milaje find themselves to be," Ayo smiled.

"Oh okay," John whispered.

John took a step forward....

"Look, I think we got off the wrong hand," John said.

He extended his hand out.... but this caused Ayo to smack him in the face with her spear.

John stumbled back, unaware of what just happened.

All of a sudden John and Ayo started fighting....

"We should do something," Sam sighed.

"We totally should! I vote we watch him get his ass beat," Maddy laughed.

"Looking strong, John!" Bucky smiled.

"Maddy....Bucky," Sam sighed.

Bucky threw his head back and groaned.... before walking over towards Ayo.

"Ayo, let's talk about this," Bucky replied.

Maddy watched as Ayo and Bucky started fighting....

Within minutes Ayo touched Bucky's arm, and soon it fell off.... Bucky looked scared.

Maddy raced up to him, picking up his arm and handed it to him. She was so concerned about him....she didn't even realize The Dora Milaje left.

"Did you know they could do that?" Maddy asked.

"No," Bucky sighed.

Bucky placed his arm back on.... and started moving it around.

"Hey where did  Zemo go?" Maddy asked.

"Great question! I saw him race to the bathroom.... and then nothing," Sam said.

The three of them walked over to the bathroom and opened the door... they all stared down at the hole.

"I can't believe he pulled an El Chapo," Sam frowned.

"I can," Bucky sighed.

Sam stood in the corner on the phone, concern filled his face.... this grabbed Maddy's attention.

After a few moments Sam walked over to Maddy and Bucky.

"What happened?" Maddy asked.

"Karli called Sarah. She threatened my nephews and your son," Sam sighed.

"WHAT?!" Maddy growled.

"It's okay! I told her to fo somewhere safe and to only pay with cash," Sam said.

"I wanted to believe Karil was good... but after threatening my son! She's as good as dead," Maddy snapped.

Bucky pulled Maddy into a hug.

"James is gonna be okay! Besides he's got two Super Soldier parents," Bucky whispered.

"Why would someone threaten a child? Could she really that far gone?" Maddy asked.

"Karli wants to meet. She left a contact number," Sam said.

Maddy pulled away.

"She wants me and Maddy to meet her," Sam frowned.

"I'm coming with y'all," Bucky replied.
