Chapter 45

"I've come here to put an end to Loki's schemes!" Thor yelled.

Maddy burst through the bushes....

"Then prove it!! Put the hammer down," Steve ordered.

"Um, yeah.... no! Bad call!! He loves his hammer!" Tony said.

Thor backhanded Tony.... sending him flying backwards.

Maddy watches as Thor raises the hammer.

"You want me to put the hammer down?" Thor asked.

Steve quickly crouches down, covering his body with his shield.... Thor brings the hammer down onto the shield, causing another massive explosion of lights.

Everyone was lying in their backs.... but Maddy.

She rushed up to them all, disappointment covered her face.

"Are you ladies done here?" Maddy asked.

"Maddy where have you been?" Steve asked, sitting up.

"I was with Loki.... someone had to stay with him," Maddy said.

"Why were you with him?" Tony questioned.

"I had to make sure he didn't escape! Because you and Thor... had to show each other dominance, trying to prove who's the Alfa male," Maddy growled.

"Who do you think you are?" Thor asked.

"Miss America.... now if you three are done, we have to head back," Maddy said.

"Um Captain.... are you going to allow this?" Tony questioned.

"You heard her! We should head back," Steve replied.

"Tony, you go grab our prisoner!" Maddy ordered.

Tony frowned.... and quickly flew away.

"Thor, you should probably come back with us.... I'm sure Fury would like to speak with you about your brother," Maddy said.

Thor nodded.... quickly dropping his hammer to the side.

"Nat? Do you copy?" Maddy called out using her ear piece.

"Yes! I'm swinging back.... I'll be there shortly," Nat replied back.

"I always thought.... I'd be in charged, now the tables have turned," Steve said.

"There's still time.... Steven," Maddy shrugged.

Maddy watched the monitor of Fury and Loki... the monitor quickly turned off.

"He really grows on you, doesnt he?" Banner joked.

"Loki's gonna drag this out, so Thor what's his play?" Steve questioned.

"He has an army called the Chitauri.... they're not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people..... they will win him the earth, in return, I suspect for the Tesseract," Thor said.

"An army? From outer space?" Maddy asked.

"So he's building another portal.... that's what he needs Erik Selvig for," Banner replied.

"Selvig?" Thor questioned.

"He's an astrophysicist," Banner stated.

"He's a friend," Thor said.

"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours," Natasha spoke up.

"I wanna know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army here," Maddy said.

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki.. that guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him," Banner replied.

Maddy watched as Thor tensed up....

"Have care how you speak, Loki is beyond reason.... but he is of Asgard, and he's my brother," Thor growled.

"He killed eighty people in two days!" Natasha commented.

Maddy snorted.

"He's adopted," Thor shrugged.

"That actually explains a lot," Maddy said.

Everyone quietly laughed.
