His Super Soldier // Bucky Barnes

Chapter 192

The bloody curling screams of the innocent soldier filled Maddy's ears... she turned the corner and horror filled her eyes.

John stood over the soldier and slammed the shield into his chest.... over and over, until he stopped breathing.

The crowd gasped.... some even pulled out their phones and videotaped the whole thing.

Maddy turned to looked at Sam and Bucky.... both of them had their jaws dropped, and both looked surprised. Maddy looked back at John, who was staring at her.... and soon he took off running.

"JOHN WAIT!!!" Maddy called out, running after him.

She noticed how fast he was.... a lot faster than normal.

Maddy followed John to a nearby abandoned warehouse.... and hoped Bucky and Sam would join her. Which they soon did.....

"Time to go to work," John mumbled.

"John?" Maddy asked.

"You guys should  see a medic, y'all don't look so good," John said.

"STOP! Walker," Sam replied.

"What? You saw what happened, you know what I did..... I had to do it! I killed him because HE KILLED LEMAR!" John yelled.

"John, he didn't kill Lemar....don't go down that road. Believe me it doesn't end well," Bucky sighed.

"I'M NOT LIKE YOU!" John growled.

"Listen, it was the heat of the battle, okay? If you could explain what happened, they may reconsider your record. We don't want anyone else to get hurt John..... you need to give me the shield, please," Maddy begged.

"Oh? So this is what this is. Man you almost had me," John frowned.

"You made a mistake," Maddy sighed.

"You don't wanna do this," John said.

"Actually, yeah we do!" Bucky smirked.

"W-Why are you doing this to me? Why are you doing this to me??" John repeated.

"This isn't you John....." Maddy replied but was cut off.

"WE COULD'VE BEEN A TEAM, MADDY! I. AM. CAPTAIN. AMERICA!! THE SHIELD BELONGS TO ME!" John snapped.

"It's over John," Sam sighed.

"IT'S MINE!" John snapped.

And with that he charged at Maddy, but luckily she moved out of the way.... and he stumbled past her. She grabbed the back of his collar and flung him.....

"Just give us the shield," Maddy said.

"No!" John growled.

John came rushing towards Maddy once more.... this time Maddy was to slow. John tackled her.... slamming her small body to the ground.

Suddenly John was thrown off of her....

"Are you okay?" Bucky asked.

"Yes I'm fine," Maddy replied.

"That was a close one, sit this one out....please," Bucky begged.

"Yeah, Maddy.... We got this," Sam sighed.

Maddy nodded before hiding behind a large box.

She could hear the boys fight off John.... until it was completely silent. She peaked over from behind the box and saw Bucky standing over him.

Maddy walked around the box.... she looked around and noticed Sam's wings were tore apart....

"Oh Sam, I'm sorry," Maddy sighed.

"It's okay," Sam said.

Maddy placed her hand on her stomach.... feeling of the baby was okay. Within moments she felt the baby kicking up a storm.

She looked over at a unconscious John....

"Where's the shield?" Maddy asked.

Bucky walked up to her..... and handed her the shield.

She held it....

The blood from the soldier.... dripped down. Maddy sighed, trying so hard to hide the tears....

"I don't deserve this," Maddy sighed.

She dropped the shield and walked away.
