Chapter 109

"FIRE IN THE WHOLE!" Rumlow laughed.

"NO!" Maddy growled.

Rumlow jumped down, and headed towards an AFV..... Maddy took off running after him.

"Sam! He's in an AFV heading north," Maddy said, running after the AFV.

Maddy looked up and saw Sam flying over her... quickly landing on a building.

"I got four, they're splitting up!" Sam replied.

Suddenly Natasha ran past Maddy.... throwing her head over her shoulder.

"Go help Steve! I got the two on the left," Natasha smiled.

Maddy nodded, running through a crowd of people.... finding Steve standing over a pile of gear.

"They've ditched their gear. It's a shell game now.... one of them has the payload," Steve sighed.

All of sudden someone threw a sticky bomb at Steve.... Maddy and Steve looked down, and saw that it was stuck to his shield. Steve throws it in the air... it exploded but far away from anyone... someone from behind them hit Steve in the back, throwing him forward. Maddy turned around to see who it was.

"There you both are! I've been waiting for this!" Rumlow growled.

"Awe I've missed you too!" Maddy smiled.

"SHUT IT YOU BITCH!" Rumlow yelled.

"Well someone is grumpy. Did you miss nap time?" Maddy asked.

Maddy helped Steve up.... both getting ready to fight.

"COME ON!" Rumlow screamed.

Rumlow charged at Steve and Maddy, but Steve pushed Maddy out of the way.... Rumlow pinned Steve to a building and pulls out a blade from his gauntlet.

"This is for dropping a building on my face," Rumlow laughed.

Maddy rushed up behind Rumlow, grabbing his arm.... pulling the gauntlet off, only to show that Rumlow had another blade. Maddy wrapped her arms around his neck and threw him over her body.

Rumlow was on his knees.... breathing heavily. He quickly removed his mask, revealing a scarred face.

"I think I look pretty good, all things considered," Rumlow smirked.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night," Maddy said.

Steve ran up to them both.... looking angry.

"Who's the buyer?" Steve growled.

"You know, he knew you both. Your pal, old lover, your buddy.... your Bucky," Rumlow laughed.

"What did you say?" Maddy growled, grabbing Rumlow by the collar of his shirt.

"He remembered you.... Maddy. I was there! He got all weepy about you, till they put his brain back in the blender. He wanted me to tell you both something.... he said ' when you gotta go, you gotta go!' And you both are coming with me!" Rumlow smirked.

Suddenly Rumlow pressed a red button... Maddy and Steve flinched. Both ready to die.

A few seconds went by.... they both opened their eyes, to see Wanda containing the blast around Rumlow... whose screaming out in agony.

Wanda lifted him into the air before she loses control.... throwing him into a building. It finally exploded.

"Oh my god!" Maddy whispered.

Wanda fell to her knees.... tears fell down her face, seeing what she had caused.

"Sam.... We need.... Fire and Rescue! On the south side of the building. We gotta get up there," Steve said.
