CHAPTER 37 : THE SICKNESS CALLED DEATH AND DESPAIR.

I then started to fade away returning to the living world, when I woke up I saw Jason being attended to by the Nurse who was genuinely starting to panic yelling.

" Oh no I'm not losing another one, if another lawsuit is filed against the academy the government will investigate the meaning behind all the recent deaths at the Kurushima academy !!! "

But Jason was unresponsive to everything she said and all she attempted to do, it was only when his eyes finally closed and everyone in the school gym began to look away not wanting to stare at a dead body when he began to speak again.

" I knew it better than anyone an yet I continued trying because if I didn't do it who else would, it didn't matter if I stood a chance or not, I had to make an impression facing this injustice they call an hierarchy so Kai could see my point. "

Then he finally fell to the ground coughing up some more blood as the Nurse tried even harder to save him but it quickly became clear just how pointless it was when she decided to diagnose the severity of his injuries finally realizing that there was not even a single pulse this whole time.

The only reason he was still around was by pure will power since his body had already died when Kai had commanded him to, thus he had astonishingly enough continued fighting and talking while being dead.

" He was weak, he was scared but yet he still tried to save the no star's from what he had experienced. How does he do it is he what they call a true hero ? "

The nurse said placing a white towel on his face before picking him up an leaving the room, casually walking through Kai's barrier that was resummoned. I began following closely behind her while crying silently realizing the worse had indeed happened and there was nothing I or anyone else could do about it.

He was a friend, a hero and my first student who had actually been able to teach me a thing or two about being a true hero but in the end I couldn't save him even if I died for him. This isn't fair he just wanted to stand up for what he believed in but yet those filthy 3 stars chose to stand in his way trying to silence him.

What should I do, should I continue what he was trying to achieve an become a 3 star who's ability is completely worthless to society or should I try appealing to Kai's humanity like Su did earlier ? I thought as Council man Fuji walked up towards the Nurse with a smile while holding a box similar to the one Fukushima had been carrying around.

" It's such a shame such a talented young man had to die especially after proving himself to the hierarchy that condemned him as worthless, but I'll make sure to make you presentable so that your mother can be proud of her boy. "

Council man Fuji said having a reaching out his hands taking Jason's body before gesturing for us to look away which the Nurse took as a sign to leave carrying the news to the principal an so I turned away expecting him to at least have the decency to not desecrate a person's corpse.

I stared outside the window trying to get my mind off things when I slowly began to realize that something fishy was going on when I saw that Ahmya, vice principal Mojin and K was standing around at the school's gate apparently having a conversation before Mojin turned towards the school's building an K left with Ahmya.

I was already pissed off as an confused as one could be, so I jumped out the window assuming that K was ready to take his revenge hoping to use Ahmya this time around since she was far more impressive than Miyabi was, plus if I remembered right he had made a partnership with Mojin Kurushima whilst trying to escape the academy.
