CHAPTER 38 : CONQUERING RANKS, NO TIME TO DIE.

Few minutes prior during Mikaru's battle with Rei Ogami...

I had finally came out of hiding and rooted for Jason Park to succeed in his battle against Ken during the tournament but it quickly became a hopeless situation when one of the 3 stared kings at the academy stepped in fatally wounding Jason thereby giving Ken the win since he was the only one who could continue to participate in the school's tournament.

Rei then yelled at his brother questioning his allegiance to the defense king Kai.

" You usually try so hard to be a nice person but sometimes your mouth doesn't cooperate, are you revealing where your loyalties are brother ? "

But seemingly getting Su's point Kai lowered his head an ordered Rei.

" I see, Rei attack Mikaru he'll be your opponent. If you lose to Jason's acquaintance then I shall acknowledged Su's argument since he is the smartest student here an the 1 star class representative, and as for everyone else let the battle royal begin !!! "

And I dashed towards Su preparing a punch as I  yelled.

" How could you let this happen you could've stepped in when Gluttony did since the rules of the dual had been broken, didn't you just say that you used to train him don't you feel anything !? "

Su then whispered glancing over towards my direction.

" Cut in half. "

And I was immediately thrown half way across the gym remaining in my position but the distance that I had leaped was halved, is this his ability ? I then glanced over at Rei who was engaged in battle with Mikaru before saying.

" So this is your ability, your the total opposite of your brother instead of doubling whatever you please you cut it in half. I can't say I'm not impressed but I still intend on venting my frustration on your face for just doing nothing. "

He then turned to face me lifting his glasses with his right index finger an said.

" The rules of the tournament was not voided the dual was merely a request from Kai an thereby doesn't fall under tournament regulations so if I had stepped in Kai could've requested that the battle royal begin  effectively setting the entire school against me which would be highly unrealistic for me to fight off alone. "

Damn that freaking smart a$& I'll show him that being logical doesn't always ensure a victory, I took advantage of the shockwaves being caused by Mikaru's battle with Rei an dashed at him once again as he snuck in a glance at who was winning in their fight.

When I got to him I was met with a palm to my face as my attack missed him losing half it's accuracy before he smashed my head into the floor dealing double the damage since my defense had been cut in half along with all of my other battle stats.

" My restriction to see only what is within my vision is halved dummy so I can never be too distracted to notice details around me although that was a valued effort since most people would flee out of fear that I might cut them in two. "

I underestimated him he's actually stronger than his younger twin Rei being able to half everything that his brother can double the only difference is there's no repercussion caused by his body's limitations.
