CHAPTER 75 : INSIGNIFICANT THREAT.

A dream, I had a dream, a dream with no end in sight. Over and over again I repeated and to correct every mistake but before I knew it I had lost count, when I turned around it became clear that I had died over 7 billion times.

And yet there was still something I wanted to achieve, a wish I wanted to grant no matter what and that's why I took his hand.

Waking up in the nurse's office I looked around seeing that I certainly wasn't alone but everyone else I had beaten were also present getting their treatment from the nurse herself so I lowered my head sobbing as I began to regret all of my previous actions under the influence of the other dimension's me who I'd been sharing my body with.

However in that moment I heard Ahmya who had previously been stood up by me when she publicly confess her feelings, she was currently in the middle of trying to explain to her older sister that it didn't really affect her but she obviously didn't seem to buy it since her only sister who dedicated her entire life to defeating her had thrown a nearly once in a lifetime chance to finally achieve it.

So when I rose my head peaking over towards them I also realized that everyone else around was staring at both me and her older sister creating a brief moment of awkwardness which Ahmya  herself was unable to bring herself to bare so she promptly ran away.

Hence her sister turned towards me with bloodlust in her eyes and charged at me causing me to have a traumatic flashback to the moment I was beheaded by her so I flinched grabbing my head and ducking out of sheer fear fortunately saving my life since she did infact swing at my neck with all her might.

The Nurse was left with no other choice but to intervene stopping her attack before it could've hurt anyone of her patients thus principal Ariana came back to her senses scowling before running after her little sister.

It didn't take principal Ariana too long to catch up to her little sister Ahmya  especially with the sheer difference in their speeds in an effort to cut her off from continuously running away Ariana blitzed Infront of her and cut off her path effectively earnings herself an opportunity to get the truth out of her.

" Why'd you run away I thought you said you didn't have any hard feelings against that boy for doing what he did to you Ahmya ? "

Hence Ahmya at last admitted.

" It hurt, as much as she hated to admit it, what Mikaru had did hurt her and not just physically. "

As those words were said a couple of mysterious men wearing military uniforms began to surround them and started attacking everyone in sight, it was not just them but nearly everyone in the Kurushima academy was being attacked by these mysterious men.

Clearly these men in military uniforms were not preterhumen since they were heavily armed with what looked like scifi weapons therefore the outcome should've been clear yet fortunately for them this was a bad time since everyone at the academy were all fairly exhausted from their previous battles.

Lacking much preternatural energy which gave them their extra dimensional edge against ordinary people they were all reduced to their base stats without it, in a normal average encounter a preterhuman would be 5 times stronger, faster and more durable than any ordinary human since it's our preternatural energy that really makes up the difference boosting us even further whenever it's released.
