( Mikaru Hyroyuki's P.O.V )
Over a week had pass since then and I had went to Mikado Hyroyuki's funeral and all of my friends also tagged along inorder to comfort me, I gave my final words before he was laid to rest in the earth surrounded by red spider lilies which were known to be poisonous if eaten, he was born on April first so this almost all seemed like a joke but an extremely unfunny one.
Of course Yuuto Sensei offered to foot the bill and handle all of the financial arrangements while my mother Mikami Hyroyuki made all the other preparations so it would at least be respectful and accommodating to all those who chose to show up for their good byes, among which was Kai, Anya Russia, Christopher Valentines, Principal Ariana, the Elites, Jason Park and his mom after receiving the news, Rei, Su Ogami and Ken Ando, Fukushima, Miyabi, Ahmya, Yuuto Itsuki and his old teacher, Mikami and me.
Kai had seem to had become a bit more reasonable and less like a dictator lately since he was even seeming to sympathize with all our grievances, Anya and Christopher just followed him wherever he went lending him a hand, principal Ariana forgave my friends and family for all the mess that was caused and offered to let my mother stop by the academy anytime if she wanted to pay us a visit, Buck was busy smoking, Tapei respectfully brought us all gifts and gave his condolences.
Fujisaki smiled, Nurse Nina cried the whole time there, imaginative Jay stood aside silently wearing dark sunglasses, Mojin was in awe the whole time after hearing that my dad had also managed to master Yuuto 's martial arts even to the point of achieving Consecutive Fatal Strike Full Force, Rei Ogami didn't really look like he wanted to be there so he just played video games on a hand held console.
Su Ogami explained more about my dad's history to Mojin in Ken and Kai's presence, Yuuto my mom and his old teacher were reminiscing about the good old days when Mikado was alive as the greatest hero, Fukushima was promoted to being a 3 star just like Jason when Kai heard everything that happened meanwhile Kai promoted Ahmya to being a two star for her performance due to the fact that everyone vouged that she probably could've also beaten me if she had tried, Miyabi became a honorary Nurse who'd practice helping others out at the Nurse's side sometimes which made the Nurse less grumpy since she now had help.
And Jason and his mother tried comforting me along side my other friends at the funeral who came bringing beautiful flowers to decorate it all and leave for Mikado when it was all over.
Even after the funeral had concluded and he was buried I decided to stick around although it was clear that it would soon rain which prompted everyone else to go to Yuuto and my place for the complimentary dinner for attending, I sat between Mikado and Fumi's graves on a patch of grass grieving for them both especially since they were laid to rest right next to each other due to the fact that Yuuto had also foot the bill for Fumi Akagi's funeral as well.
So many years has passed and to be honest even though it hurts I kinda do understand him now since he did care for me in every possible way he could, I've taught about it and growing up my attitude and mentality was very childish and ignorant seeking revenge even while uncle Yuuto raised me saying he'd attain justice for me so I could simply just live a normal life.
Now that I've been able to see justice served with my own two eyes even though I had barely been able to reunite with my father after such a fairly long while blood was still she'd, I'm tired of this cycle of mutual endless killing for revenge since now that it comes to mind I'm no different from K, I have no enemies but yet I'm still not as happy as I thought I'd be.
