the dangerous games we play (hey)
are lurking along lines of grey (hey)
our mothers have begun to pray (hey)
our lies we'll have to pay (hey)
our sins heavily weigh (hey)
our hearts are falling to decay (hey)
our nooses are starting to fray (hey)
our coffins are my ashtray (hey)
am i the predator or prey (oh my)
did we know things would turn out this way? (hey)
"it's blood not water" you say (lies)
but thorns can't make a bouquet (hey)
"bodies will you please lay" (down)
wish that my soul would stay (mine)
demons we can't slay (time)
is this really okay? (fine)
and although you're not my blue jay (hey)
it's better off this way (hey)
my eyes they might betray (you)
i promise not to stray (far)
