it was really too personal
i felt naked and raw
laid out like that
for anyone to see
i shouldn't have
said those things
written those things
painted those things
and i certainly should not have shown you
it made me
uncomfortable
to show the world that
so i'm sorry, don't ask for the story
(because I will never tell it
again)
maybe the whole point of this
is for me to burn up my feelings
(which is good, I never wanted them anyway)
but the thing about burnt words
is that no one was ever
meant to read them
